so today marks the anniversary of a big event in my life. but I kind of kept forgetting about it all day... which I think is a good thing.. means moving on. but then I get sad that I keep forgetting. and then I remember that it's a good thing it's not totally on my mind..... thumbs-down to vicious cycles. thumbs-up to moving on.

*hugs to jlw* 😍

Yes, but I have a list for every day! If I miss one, then I have more to do the next day and so on. It is like a snowball effect.

wow, you really ARE destined to be a med student. you sound like me 2 months ago when i was studying for step 1. 🙂

just dont get to freaked out, i must have "revised" my schedule a dozen times between when i first wrote it and when i took step 1.

Yeah, I know. You'd think I was scoring 14's across the board by now. I didn't start studying like this until a couple of weeks ago though. 😉

today was my last day on the peds floor. its amazing how much bonding there is in 3rd year, i've become REALLY good friends with my team mates, some of which i only knew as acquaintances in the first 2 years. it sucks moving on to ob now and leaving them, we're not on the same schedule since i was supposed to be on ob as my first rotation but flipped it with peds (my 2nd) so that i could start with something easier. they are all going on to family medicine. 🙁

it feels great to be done with a rotation though... well, ALMOST done. one more activity this friday and then i get the weekend off! 😍 plus, since they canceled the oral exam that use to be required in this rotation we have a free day tomorrow to just stay home and cram... i mean, "review" peds.

😍 sorry everyone is going to family med 🙁 but you should know that ob/gyn brings people together. I can't believe this rotation is almost done--has it really been 6 weeks? crap. I'm glad you have tomorrow to "review" You know you are gonna do great :luck:

oh and by the way i can kick anyone's arse in googling

Does Ice cream stand for a new slang or something? I have been hearing it used very strangely lately? And not just on SDN...at work too. Am I missing something guys? 😕

And a big DING DING for Nikki!!! I missed your post earlier!

It's a hydatidiform mole, classically described as a "bunch of grapes", esp. on ultrasound.

Nikki - the partial form is often caused by triploidy. 👍

So that's what a molar pregnancy looks like? Cool! (and completely wrong on my guess before! LOL)

It's a thing from chat. 😉

I didn't know it goes further than that if it does.
