You're better off getting whatever book your reading assignments come from anyway, Ana. Remember that the profs assigning you that reading are also the ones who will be testing you. 😉

I got the right biochem book but the A&P prof said everything will come from Lecture and the textbook is only to reinforce the material (translation: you don't really need it) and I figured I could get reinforcment from any good A&P book. I think I'll just end up bumming it off a friend. 😀

In that case, then, I recommend that you go to the library at your school and check an anatomy book out. Then when you get to med school, buy whichever one they use there.

I kinda miss school....I don't think I would have said this during my undergrad years 😀. Wanted to enroll in a bio class, but didn't want to take out more loans 🙁

I want to hike this trail in IL - the River to River trail.

I've done half of it in small increments, but I would love to split it up over several weekends. My brother lives in Carbondale now so I could do it over winter break, I suppose.

BTW I 😍 hiking.

My favorite job ever was a summer job as a camp counselor and living in the woods for 4 months in this:

The trail you can anytime and the camp requires you to check in at the main office and pay $5 for use of the camp (I think - it might be free). If you're a lodge member at the camp it's free to stay anytime the cabins aren't in use There's 10 units of 8-10 cabins each. One unit has bunk beds in a small cave and the rest are in treehouses like in the picture.

It's in downstate IL.

You know that guy Dr. Jerry Punch that gives commentary on college football games? He is an MD, left medicine to work NASCAR. Now is in college football. Sounds like a good career path to me. 😎

Really an MD? I always thought PhD in like something sports related or technical like MechE.
