Someone also mentioned a theory about hormones injected into our foods (like chicken, beef, etc). Any truth to this?

Women in Japan have been growing larger breasts (not breaststicks) after eating more western foods like McDonalds. Height has been going up too and they think it's because of hormones in the food that were put in the animals.

I am chatty freakin' Kathy tonight. So excited to be done with summer school.

Grades aren't out but I got an A in A&P II and probably a B in Calc. At the end I just was so tired from work and school I gave up the A.

Whatever. Calc is not an easy class.

Yeah - I have some friends in Poland who have a free-range chicken farm and use no hormones. The chicken there tasted so much better than here, but I've never had fresh chicken here.

Anyway my friend is convinced that the hormones have to do with early development.

Interesting. Makes sense - I wonder if there is literature out there. I shall go look!

Damn, that's a long drive. Fastest way is to get on the 417 North til East University Blvd. Take that straight into UCF. Last time I took that route, I can't remember how long it took. I was going pretty fast (catching up with my friend's F40 🙂 ). Maybe a 25 mile drive???

Edit: Toll money will be a PITA!!!

Nah, I'll just get a hotel. All my friends in orlando live too far away with traffic and all. I don't want to dish out the money but it looks like I have no choice.

Traffic??? I took that same route at 8:30 AM on a Saturday. VERY little traffic on the Greenway as usual. Considering you'd be leaving at 7-ish, it will be dead empty. I was going 95mph that way at 8:30 AM. Very few cops on the 417 😀

I guess if your car isn't reliable and you think it may break down, hotel near campus isn't a bad idea. Unless you have backup to pick you up from a broke down car.

On a random note, has anyone heard of Gnarls Barkley??? I heard a song by him the other day called Crazy and bought the CD. Its really good. Sounds sorta like a fusion between jazz music and alternative/punk music in a way. And some of his other songs sound like a little bit of rap mixed with jazz. Hard to describe, but really good stuff.

hey all! I'm stopping into the random thread to say hi. I'm in Cape Cod and my gf booked a suit with a jacuzzi at a b&b. I brought some bubblyyyyy..should be fun 😀 . Have a good night randomites 😀 .

Are you sure that 103 (or whatever) pound figure is what triggers it? I mean, there are some girls in the 90lb range that I think have been through puberty. Does body fat percentage also play a part in it? I know some gymnast girls that have had maybe 2 or 3 periods (obviously hit puberty) in their entire life and they're 22-25 y.o. They said it's because they have too little fat and their bodies say it can't provide for a fetus.

one time i looked up the one for our county and for some reason it was rather difficult to find--there should be an easy place that you can quickly get this information

Reminds me of a scene from a movie I watched the other day - Shop Girl. Not a very good movie, but at one point this guy and girl are going to have sex.
