Flying this summer I learned never to sit at the front of the plane. Sure you get off faster, but that's where all the screaming toddlers are too! Almost makes you want to shell out the $5 for a cocktail.
Hey, now I'm one of those people. 😉

I had a travel nightmare going to one of my interviews, and I'm a "please do not invade my personal space, thank you" person anyways.

When I checked in at the counter at the airline for my return trip, the computer asked me if I wanted to upgrade to a first-class ticket for a (relatively fair sized) fee. My self-control was at a very low ebb. I clicked on the yes button.

Wow, was that ever a great flight. I was so glad I didn't have to drive home from the airport!!! 🙂

MM- I just googled "hairstyles" and found a site that must be straight out of the 80s! :scared:

They are scary, aren't they?

I think I'm going to have to go to B&N tomorrow and check out the magazines, because the websites have been less than educational.

I flew first class once too. Awesome. 👍

I sure am glad I don't have any flights coming up right now with not being able to take any water, hand lotion, contact solution, etc.!

Hope they're handing out extra inflight beverages!

Oooohhh, I was just at B&N tonight getting the next Dark Tower book and checking out magazines. There are several current celebrity gossip magazines with Nick Lachey on the cover. Automatic buys. 😀

Also, is it bad that I bought Men's Health because it has Carl Edwards on the cover? 😳

Speaking of Carl Edwards - NASCAR race at Michigan in 9 days!!!

Not bad. Yay for NASCAR. Not with you on the Nick Lachey, but to each her own and more power to her!

excellent. we shall meet again after 0900. I'm at the hospital tomorrow, so depending on how rounds go and/or if there are new admissions, I should have access to my drug of choice on and off all day.

I'm assuming you mean SDN and not those pills you're hoarding.

One would think that one could roll out of bed and have hair looking like this.

Sadly, one would be wrong. Or maybe it's just the face that makes the hair.

Oh Keira. 😍

Thanks for the pleasant dreams tonight Molly. 👍

I should have been an anesthesiologist. 😎

also as a side note, to quote one of my friends from when we worked managed care and someone went to the hospital with an OD on some sort of benzo-

"One man's overdose is another man's party!"

You'd really have to put some serious work into it to OD on a benzo.

Yea, I have had ENT problems for much of my life, and I hald always heard adult tonsillectomys were very painful. I had major issues with my ears (like, 7 tubes in my one ear up until age 15). It made me loose 50% of my hearing in the one ear.
My sister had her tonsils out as adult 2 or 3 years ago. She said the pain was miserable but she'd do it again in a second. She was getting tonsillitis (sp?) every month.

That is some awesome hair!
rarely = walking out of the salon before I hit the humidity

seriously, though- I spend a pretty penny on my hair, and it's never ever in my life looked better. my guy owns the salon and really, truly knows what he's doing. I'd suggest spending some cashola at least once to get a great cut, and then perhaps someone else can replicate it.
