Well, I can tell you that a lot of people who interview early at U Mich get accepted. They're a rolling school, and they want to convince you to come there over Harvard. If they accept you in Oct, they have a lot of time to work on you before Harvard gets around to admitting anyone in March. 🙂

Living in Texas, it's so hard to think about October as an "early" interview :laugh:

you freaking residents really do dictate fast as hell. i was listening to the chief resident dictate into the phone for the recording after a c-section and i swear that guy was speed talking. :scared:

Because I've moved on to a new thought, and if it happens fast enough, it crowds out the old ones and I forget what I was already in the middle of saying. I actually had it happen to me in the middle of my disseration defense. I had to stop for a few seconds and try to figure out where the heck I was in my spiel. :laugh:

If I weren't human, I'd be able to process more things at once. 😉 Actually, it's a pretty apt analogy. I think when I get too many thoughts in my head all crowding together, I kind of get a mental reset, which results in me blanking out altogether. My parents were at my defense, and my mom said that was the only time she was scared because I just stopped talking altogether for like 10 or 15 seconds. I just remember wondering to myself what the heck I had just been saying, and having to backtrack. :laugh:

So, how about that helo pad?

And I'm going to bed. Nighty night, randomites.
