If I remember correctly, the real MCAT is designed so that it's really spread out (so you don't have to flip back and fourth while reading passages)

So I bought NCAA 2007 and I'm working on campus legend mode. I just played Ohio State and was up 14-0, all the sudden the freaking computer must realize that OS is ranked #1 in the game and nothing I did would stop them. They scored 4 touchdowns in a row 😡

won't be saving that progress :meanie:

hey brett! from what i remember, they give you both at once but you cant open the 2nd packet until time has been called for the first prompt. someone like VD or nikki can confirm this later but thats what i remember from my 2003 MCAT day.

blah.... i'm totally not sure though, i cant believe its been 3 years. 😱

No. They give them to you one at a time. At least, that's what they did for me in 2004.

Hahaha I think we're all confusing BB with regards to the WS. Regardless, you have to finish the 1st essay first then they'll tell you when you can start the 2nd one.

NICE!!! What kind did you get? Specs? If I get into med school for 07, I will get a new laptop myself around that time. I still have my laptop that I got from August '03. It's such a piece of garbage now. 🙁

I was doing well in nl he today (around 30 place) and was about to double up with a straight and the guy I called caught a boat on the river 😡

6th. I was really tired at that point ~3:15 so I just pushed with a lot of money left with 77 and was called by AA. Oh well.

It's those green room tournies.

Where do you live now? My mom lives in FL, but my dad moved up to Baltimore. I think he's moving back down here at the end of the month.

people are just venting, dont be scared off by them. everyone has bad days, weeks, whatever and then vent. med school has its great moments too, people just dont talk about those as much. 🙂

Yeah so i've noticed that SDN medstudent members or resident members tend to use SDN to vent their frustration.

premeds do it too guju, how many threads have you seen where people are complaining about the mcat, or dat, or organic chem or whatever? being anonymous, its easy to vent.

True. I guess what I find surprising is that I expect that out of premeds. But for some reason I don't really expect to find a lot of med students and residents perusing such forums as often as many of the regulars do because none of my friends from where I actually live ever really perused these forms and mroe often then not just lurked and stopped using SDN after med school started.
