uh, one of my friends just got a DUI 😡 🙁

He is freaking out about it. He has a PA drivers license and is not registered in Maryland, which is where it happened. This is his first offense. BAC = .11

Does anyone know if the insurance company will find out about this? I have heard these things slip through the cracks if they are out of state. Otherwise, I think he is going to get dropped (which might not be a bad thing)

If you're friend was really driving while drunk, he's an idiot. Sorry, I just don't have a tolerance for stuff like this. I know people who have been hit by drunk drivers.

Sort of. After I send in my AMCAS later tonight or tomorrow, I will go on a mad dash for a full-time job hunt. I need money and something to burn time.

I had to give an insulin shot to a cat twice a day while I was house sitting awhile ago. Interesting experience.

wow, that cat was lucky. i would have probably waited for it to pass out and THEN i would have given it insulin. so much easier that way brett, mother******* cats. :meanie:

I passed out doing an epidural once. So I am the same way.

Med Students, help me out: What can cause increase in red bone marrow AND anemia at the same time? Seems to me that the body would react to chronic blood loss/iron deficiency anemia by creating more bone marrow. (Yes, this is a menstrating female. No, it is not me.)

hola sexy. did u hear about that prank someone pulled in a theatre during snakes on a plane? they let 2 live rattlesnakes loose causing mass panic. hope the surgery went well today 🙂

VD, placing EKGs is fun. Since my coworker who usually does it for our research participants is out, it's my job now. I hate putting them on for guys who have hairy chests though...you know those are going to hurt when they take them off. 😱
