It was a quarter to three in the morning when you posted this! I have to get up by 6 at the latest, so no random chatting for me at that hour. 😉

slow night!

About my school, the first school I WENT to had only 700 girls. My high school was 3 times the size. I then transferred soph year to a class where the average size was probably about 200. I found that I really don't do we in large classes. I much prefer small class environment. I think that is part of the reason why I struggled in college and even last year. Funny thing is I never realized it until I started thinking about what you were saying. I thoroughly enjoy classes of about 50 people and getting to know your professor and having a free for all discussion.

Sorry about chat last night guys. I got immersed in rearranging and calculating my data from lab last night and completely forgot about chat. So I've learned another thing about myself. I can only multi-task up to two things. Last night it was watching scrubs and doing hw.

I think I'm going to skip class today and finish that project for SDN. Its a tad boring and its way basic intro stuff (ochem I).

Don't worry I'm on vacation and even I wouldn't be up on here at 3 am and 4 am like some people.

I was getting tired arund 10 last night.

I think the only times I've been on at like 3am is if I just got back from somewhere where we were out til late and I was still high wired and energetic. Like when I come back from garba/raas dance thing that we indians have.

wow... there's an affirmative action thread where the OP is talking about joining the KKK... 😱 I'm not sure what the criteria for closing threads is.... but...

Yeah I noticed too....AA has been discussed so much on SDN...these threads always get ugly at some point.

So they stripped Pluto of its planetary status. That's just messed up. At least I can say to my grandkids that when i was a kid there were 9 planets, not 8.

LMFAO!!! They should've just left it alone. Imagine the costs of having to edit and reprint books because of that. Dumb...

Do you guys watch Medical Mysteries on ABC @ 10PM. I think this is one of my fave shows now. Anyway, last night their topic was about identical twins and they featured this Indian dude whose belly had been growing for 36 years (and right before his operation, he looked 9 months pregnant). They finally operated on him, only to find his mutated identical twin was growing inside of his belly and like a parasite was using his blood supply.

Holy crap I remember that! I think I saw it about a year ago. The skeleton wasn't really like bone anymore. Just a bunch of calcium that solidified (no soft bones or tissue).

It had hands with long fingernails. I wish I could find a pix of the mutant so I can post it here.

Are people back in school already?....'cause the MCAT forum really slowed down....I guess it'll pick up again in Oct.

I don't know. We don't start school til Monday, but I'm just chillen at my parents house.

Some people started school but I don't know about everyone. Oh and it generally slows down after the initial shock of the MCAT is over until scores come out at which point it floods again and then slows down after a few days when the initial shock of scores is over.

"Pick up again" is quite the understatement for the pandemonium that will be score release.

And yes, school has unfortunately started for many. 🙁

I remember I was checking the forums obsessively up to and immediately after score release last year, but then I didn't really come on again until I started studying in January for the April test.
