Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

According to my dad, Lager wasn't even invented until the late 80's, and people in Philly would have never been drinking Yuengling at a bar period because back then it was considered a cheap, nasty "mountain man" beer.

I had Yeungling Black and Tan last night.....👍

Seriously. $7 with student ID at the new one here. Old theater is $4 matinee.

Damn I wish I could go for $4 matinee.....freakin movies are getting so expensive and I 😍 going to the movies!!!

Wow, this lady on MSNBC is having problems saying "runway." LOL! She keeps saying "wrong wunway" and then correcting herself. 😀

Yes, $4 is a good deal. I saw Nacho Libre at that place, not bad, just old. The other theater was loud as heck! I watched MI3 there, terrible. It was annoying loud, especially the beginning with all the screaming. It was the first time I've ever covered my ears in a theater. You can see why I don't want to pay $7 again to have my ears screwed up.

After 9/11, I only had 1 channel for like 2-3 months...that was horrible! Had to keep going to my parent's house to watch TV, hehehehe.

I love going to this one particular theater where there's a lot of leg room so when people pass by you don't have to get up.

I used an antenna last summer and got about 4 channels. FOX, NBC, CBS, and ABC.

(btw, I have 100 more posts than 2nd place! 😱 )

I think I'll wait to see it on dvd.

I think seeing it with an audience was the best part of the whole experience. Sure it isn't a cinematic masterpiece, but I can't remember a time where everyone in the theater got so into a movie. There were standing ovations when certain characters died, total uproar after a certain famous line, high fives between perfect strangers when moving through aisles...all in all one great experience. 👍

You mean my internet connection? I have DSL.

What's so bad about it? No matter how many people are online, your speed remains the same. For cable, if a lot of people have it in your neighborhood, it's slows for everyone (since it's divided). If you're the only one with cable, then it's really fast. Right now mine is slow. I live in a college area where everyone seems to be online all the damn time (including me 😉 ).

Hahaha for a long time I was dialing-up to my school's network. Only got DSL way after grad school and no way I can go back to dial-up again. I know if I get cable now, it'll mess me up with studying hahahahah!!!

No not my internet connection. I mean TV cable. I still have rabbit ears on my tv 😀 .

Been bugging my hubby to get plasma screen....but he says we have to get cable first, LOL!!!

'Cause no way he's putting that up with an antenna sticking out.

I don't think I'd ever buy a plasma  So expensive and I don't watch much tv. If I had to choose, I'd pick an LCD over plasma because I don't want any pictures burned into the screen if I pause a movie or watch a lot of ESPN (their logos stay in the same place).

When I went to Key West in 2000...I got a henna tattoo on my arm....it sucks when it started to fade 'cause it didn't fade evenly.

Speaking of which, no visitors are allowed in the Keys right now because of the hurricane. Only residents. I guess you can't get another one anytime soon!

I like those henna tattoo on the palm....but I think it's symbolic of something, right? Like before an Indian girl gets married or something.....ok I could be completely off.

The palm or back?
Doesn't specifically say. This thought was sparked by a post from someone who has them on their hands and now is worried about getting into med school.

Seriously, in a professional setting visible tattoos seem pretty against the rules. Are people that short sighted to not realize that it could affect their future career and advancement?
