Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

I got cornered at OPM by some folks from St. Matthews (an alum and his wife) who wouldn't leave me alone. Unfortunately, it was right at the time that TypeA showed up, and since we'd never met in person and then here I am kind of ignoring her (b/c I can't figure a way out of this conversation), it looked like I was snubbing her. Anyway, these people were a tad weird, and fairly militant about how wonderful the Carib is for med school. Even after I told them (twice) that due to family issues, I wouldn't consider applying there....... they kept recruiting me. Thanks, no.

I think everyone here is a GA fan. I find it too dramatic sometimes.

I've never watched GA and have no interest in it. I've got Celebrity Duets on. Much more entertaining to me. Lucy Lawless singing Right Here Waiting with Richard Marx. :laugh:

I'm not really a GA fan; but my dad loves it. So I'll watch it occasionally just to spend time with him. you're right: it can be way overly dramatic!

Okay, fresh glazed Krispy Kreme > fresh Dunkin' Donuts glazed.

Anything else, Dunkin' Donuts. If I had to choose to go to one for the rest of my life only, Dunkin' Donuts.

Seriously, someone needs to make a doughnut that has the correct dv% of protein, fats, and carbs. Know what I'm saying? So you could only eat doughnuts and still get everything you need.

Sylvester Stallone has his own pudding that is pretty much only protein. It's possible.

I should seriously look into starting some protein based desserts so no one will ever feel bad eating a lot of it.

Not really. Two of my friends have them. A Santa Fe (SUV) for about 4-5 years now. ZERO problems. The only has a Laganda (sp?) sedan. No problems. His Jeep was giving him problems, got rid of it. GM makes excellent trucks, but their cars SUCK ASS. They're a rental car manufacturer.

My dad rented a Monte Carlo when he was in town. What a pos. The Pontiac G6 he rented before looked okay, but the cars just feel cheap in general imo. I like Nissan, which is what I have. 😀

The only reason I'm looking at domestics AT ALL is because Toyota makes the engine 👍 I can feel good about buying American and still not get a POS car. :laugh:

We still have these chocolate things in the fridge from like November. It's dark chocolate, but you're not supposed to chew it. It's covered with chocolate powder. They're like a bunch of small golfballs.
