Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

We've been through highs and lows in Part 5. From the final matches of Andre Agassi's career to the loss of the World's friend, Mr. Steve Irwin. May he rest in piece.

With all that said, let the green flag wave! Boogity Boogity Boogity!!!

News Flash: SNL sucked after Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn, Molly Shannon, Ana Gasteyer, Cheri Oteri left. Tracy Morgan was also really funny, but stayed around longer. Who the hell knows why Darrell is still there.

Dear God, WHY? WHY? Why do I actually have to agree with him about this?

4 weeks.

its not bad though so i'm not complaining at all, basically 9-5 hours and i'm seeing patients on my own. 😀

how are things with you?

How did my timing get so off? Oh well...at least you have decent hours and more responsibility it seems...that's great. I have just been busy. Classes....studying...more studying...and some more studying. Looking forward to a (too) short getaway in October.

And so Georgia goes on to win. :meanie: A good way to end the game, just like UF, interception!

BB, will you be watching the UF-UK game on ESPN tonight?

It's University of Iowa. 😡

erm......

When you say "Michigan" it's understood to be University of Michigan.

When you say "Georgia" it's understood to be University of Georgia.

Lastly, when you say "Iowa" it's understood to be University of Iowa 😉 😕

and when you say Penn, it's University of Pennsylvania.
PSU or Penn State = The Pennsylvania State University.

people really don't get that one.

When you say "Florida," it's understood to be University of Florida.

When you say "Miami," it's understood to be University of Miami. (an no, Ohio doens't count)

Yeah I know it's strange....and also some people think "University of Pennsylvania" is a public school, lol.

So this is the wierd-ass crap that goes through my mind when I'm trying to study A&P. Is the fact that I was a liberal arts major going to totally kick my ass in med school? I'm trying to learn the axial skeleton for lab and I figured the more references I have, the better. So I bust out one of my dad's texts - it might as well be in Latin for all I understand it. There's SO MUCH information in there. 🙁 I'm scared.

No. I didn't know any anatomy before I started med school, and so far I'm managing. I'm not saying it's easy, but it's doable. It's a lot better when you have more things to look at (atlases, computer modules, cadavers) and you're not just reading out of a book. Looking at the anatomy book scares me, too. 😛

I'm buying the A&P coloring books from Amazon. Maybe if the bones are in pretty colors I'll do better 😀

Yeah, I totally missed that whole thing. 😳 Sorry, am stressed by parental units standing over my head. 😉

VD, listen. i am not the smartest med student in my class, not even close and I still made it through anatomy without too much trouble. we all do, even those who were liberal arts majors. 😀

dont worry, anatomy just takes time. time spent memorizing, time spent looking at the atlas, time spent in lab.... if you put in the time you will be a rock star, regardless of what your major was. i promise.

Another OSU Interception.

Fe is probably crying into a beer right now.

There's no reason for Grumman to cry. His team proved that OSU isn't that great. Penn State's qb just wasn't good, plain and simple. If they had a good qb, it would've been at least an OT game if not a PSU win. How many times was PSU in the red zone and couldn't convert? Exactly. OSU isn't the best team in the nation right now imo. They beat a skeleton Texas team that isn't nearly the same as last year and now PSU, which is the same. Yet to play a real team. We'll see what Michigan and Iowa do.
