Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Definitely have to agree here. I visited Columbia, MD (nice place), but when we went to Baltimore and south for the weekend (DC), VERY dirty place, gross. DC was even worse than Baltimore except for the National Gallery, Capitol, etc.

I know someone who went to Cornell for ug. Not sure why. Waste of money imo. He did hospitality management I think. Now he's a manager at an Olive Garden in Ft. Lauderdale.

Not sure why he'd want to live under 10 ft of snow for 4 years for that. 😕

Cornell's medical school is in NYC. Upper East Side Manhattan, at that. I really loved that area. Oh well.

Cornell UG has a school for hotel management, is that what you were thinking of?

Yes, he was doing that. Had a job offer with GAP in Chicago (can't imagine why he turned that down). He had an internship at the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Studios in Orlando. Not sure why he changed his mind.

well if I go with the civic it would be a 2007 LX.

I'm leaning more towards the volvo right now, though. The civic appears to have good safety ratings on the surface, but when you really look at the NHTSA side-impact ratings, they are pretty lousy for side impact in terms of head injury. I actually think I would feel better with the kids in a 2003 Volvo.

Baltimore is 90% ghetto and 10% really awesome, and there's very few shades of grey.

On a side note, Baltimore is the exact opposite of Boston, it has tons of bums. The last time I was in Boston I kept asking myself, "where are all the bums?" It was so odd.

Chicago has very few bums. Only one guy was trying to sell me a "$1,000" watch for $100.
