Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

I got a $25 traffic citation for a stupid school zone flashing light at 10:00 am. What kind of school has kids coming or going at 10? It's such a scam. With all the added bs the total bill comes to $110

:laugh: Honestly, this might come across as a bit stupid, but that was a major reason I didn't go there for undergrad. Things like that mattered to me back then. I just couldn' bear the thought of that aspect of the school, although it is a great school....besides that

A Violet?? :laugh: That is pretty bad.

My ugrad mascot were Plainsmen. They have since changed it to Prairie Wolves. 😀

well I'm also a Billiken.... 😳

at least they can have someone jump around in a mascot uniform. can you imagine the poor guy who would have to essentially dress up as a pansy? 🙄

unfortunately, yes. i've found many more droppings in places other than where we saw them initially. we took care of plugging up holes (huge holes in the connections to the heating units...good job guys) with steel wool and duct tape, so hopefully that will keep them out.

almost. i had an awful time trying to get to sleep b/c i was afraid i'd have nightmares about them.

It jumped just fine and I drop all the way to school so hopefully it's charged up. I'm so proud that I jumped it all by my lil'ol'self. See, I don't need no stinky boyfriend. :laugh:

Beary: I forgot to tell you. I totally had a dream about you. We were staying in this old house and trying to kill this really bizarre yellow and black cockroach. Yeah it was a wierd dream.

I haven't seen any in a couple of years- I bought those things you plug into the walls which emit ultrasonic frequencies? Seems to be working.

And to get rid of the one I did have, dry oatmeal worked like a charm when PB and cheese failed. Sprinkled a little in the trap, caught that dude in under 3 hours. 👍

It's going pretty well, thanks! It is an EXTREMELY light rotation so I have a ton of time to study, which is nice. I have to give a big talk and a few little talks, but that is about it. 🙂

I'm taking Step 3 next month - got my scheduling permit today, yikes! So I am going to start studying with that some intensity.

How are things going for you?

Good morning guys! Hope you all had a great weekend. Had a busy weekend.....Sat AM went to a county fair where I tried fried oreos....was kinda hesistant at first but it was really good....oreos kinda melted inside.....yummy, Sat PM went to my friend's son's 6th b-day party, and yesterday went to a beer festival where you can sample different types of beers for 5 hours (what more can one ask for 😀)
