Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

LOL Nothing wrong with payless! I have seriously wide feet (thanks dad!) and the only shoes that fit without having to be custom made are from payless. Seriously thinking about foot surgery.....

Good morning randomites! I have Windows Messenger that automatically signs me in and I don't realize it. I guess my ex-husband (the professional identity thief from NZ) was online earlier this morning and sent me a PM. Freak!

If I'm not going to be online for more than 10-15 minutes i usually don't open my messenger programs. somehow when i was in dreamworld he found me. Ugh!

I had an appointment with my cardiologist tomorrow that I need because I have been sick. I just got paged that he will be out of town so they're cancelling the appointment. When do I get to go in next? Oct. 24. Yeah, a cool month away.

I get to see the pacemaker technicians tomorrow, but no physician. Oh well. These are different pacemaker people who work in a totally different building. Hopefully they are good. 🙁

🙁 Can you go see a different cardiologist? That really seems crappy that they rescheduled you over a month from now!!

Yeah, maybe. The thing is I see a super-subspecialized cardiologist (arrhythmia/pacemaker/adult congenital heart disease) all in one. I could just see a "normal" cardiologist, who would probably be able to help, but my deal is really extremely complicated between devices, meds, etc.

Hopefully the pacemaker people will be able to help. I have been sporadically having pretty bad chest pain that I think is somehow pacemaker related, so maybe we will be able to help figure that out. I don't know about these people at the other facility. I've seen pacemaker techs that I trust more than I trust the docs they are so knowledgeable, and pacemaker techs that I wouldn't let TOUCH my pacemaker without the doc around. So hopefully this will be a really good one. 🙂

I hope they can fix it for you Beary. I would have guessed there would be a bunch of super specialized cardiologist docs that you could see at U Mich. 🙁
