Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

I am now at the point where studying is counterproductive. I am not learning anything and frustrating the heck out of myself in the process. NOT TO MENTION...I am famished and the food we ordered almost an hour and a half ago is still not here. I was hungry an hour and a half ago...what? Do they think we order dinner just for the fun of it? Dude...studying fruitlessly + hunger = 😡

im so glad i didnt. Im getting awesome exposure to a field that I know i don't want to stay in, but one that is closely related to what i want to do. It's getting me more and more excited for med school.

Plus, almost everything i'm making is going in the bank, and its the last time i'll be able to do that for a long long time🙁

brett are you still following smallville? wtf is up with lana and lex being together now? i've only ever seen like 2 episodes of smallville but saw this on the previews and couldnt believe it. NO WAY that guy gets a girl as hot as kristin kreuk.

Yea, well I graduated in early May. It felt good at first, but now that feeling has worn off.

Off to watch the Saints-Falcons game!

I can't believe it. I completely misplaced an evaluation I did on one of my kids. *sigh* I was hoping to have that report done for them tomorrow. Looks like I have to re-do the assessment. 😡

I can't get motivated to study for Physics. I've looked over the practice problems I already did as well as the formulas. Tomorrow I'll get more hyped I think.

it was 730-2 pretty much. 😀 tomorrow will be 730-5/530 with a 3 hour break inbetween. i was soooooooooo tired when i came home today though, i slept for 2 hours and still work up tired. :laugh:

i dont know, i think i may have caught a cold from one of my family med patients last week.

I caught something from the peds clinic. I'm thinking of putting some OJ in a camelbak to help keep my Vitamin C levels up while I'm there.

was at one of the hospitals this AM (not usually there on Monday, had to skip class 🙁 ). was in my office, which I share with one of the Child Life guys. I can't see who's coming in the door from my desk, so my office-mate comes in and tells the person behind him to come in too... and it was...

a Cardinal! 😍 Not Albert, or I would have fallen over my chair. 😳

then I go to my private practice office, and my first appt is a friend of a friend of a coworker of one of my friends... aka, my friend just gave out my name but doesn't know this chick.

at the end of the assessment, she looks at me and says "So is it next year you're applying to med school?"

you know, I'm not speechless often, but that was one of those times. I don't share that info with my clients, except for one who guessed it when I said I had "a class". stunned, I said yes, but asked why she was asking.... and apparently she knew more about me than I did her, b/c she had asked for background on me before being willing to come in. wtf? 😕
