Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

dont tempt me!

man did you see the video of that racecar driver jumping through the window of another racecar with both feet first in toledo today?

awwww ohio

Katherine Legge crashed her car yesterday at Road America in Wisconsin. The rear wing element fell off, causing her to lose all her downforce at the rear wheels going around a corner, so the back end slid out. Very fortunate woman because she came out with no problems at all!!! Perfectly fine. Insane. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DD2daVkdB_A

have you ever seen a MLB player within 5 feet of you? kinda gives you that feeling Ana was describing... he was a fine specimen :meanie: 😍

I dated one. A lot closer than 5 feet. 😀

Best break up ever. 😉

WHOA. That's one of the worst crashes I have ever seen.

I was at a dirt track race in Iowa and one of the drivers crashed and died. It was a bad crash but not that bad.

At the F1 San Marino GP in 1994, one driver died during qualifying, April 30th. The race was the following day, May 1st, and the man in my avatar died, too. 🙁 Last death in F1 and he is said to be one of the greatest drivers of all time, at least in F1.

Hey people!

My first day of class was awesome. I loved every single minute of it. (Yes, I know, I'm a total geek and proud of it.)

I think my favorite part was when we whizzed past 6 weeks of undergrad cell biology in about 30 minutes. A close second was going through a month of biochem in 15 minutes. The stories you hear about med school? Not lies, I will tell you that much. 🙂 🙂 We'll see if I like it so well once we get to the things I haven't seen before. At this rate, I think that's probably going to be Wednesday. 😉 😱

We had a pathologist in to give our first histo lecture... I thought about beary all day!! He showed powerpoint picture slides of all the procedures that the pathology department goes through to process specimens... it was tres cool. 🙂 We get to submit some from our cadavers when we actually get to them. 🙂 🙂

Anyway, I'm totally stoked but sadly am unable to read through the five pages I missed at the moment. I hope you all are doing splendidly well!!!

It was never finalized on how Ayrton Senna died, but the team owner, Sir Frank Williams (what my username is named after) was tried by the Italian gov't for murder since Senna raced for the Williams F1 team.

It's believed that the cars tires cooled down too much on a caution lap. And as Beary knows, this leads to a decrease in traction since the tires aren't up to temps. Well, his car kept bottoming out around the race track and the Tungsten on the bottom of the car (to lower the center of gravity) kept giving off sparks (so you know it's bottoming out). On one turn, the car bottomed out, no traction so brakes didn't work, went straight into a wall, and had a wishbone from the suspension break off and go right through his helmet. 🙁

Mr. Frank Williams said that he has always had problems dealing with the death since Senna died in a car named after Mr. Williams. 🙁
