Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

We've been through highs and lows in Part 5. From the final matches of Andre Agassi's career to the loss of the World's friend, Mr. Steve Irwin. May he rest in piece.

Hi S&M! You are right...I just realized that we are within 500! Wow. I think I have enjoyed Part 6 more than Part 5 b/c there was a lot less post-whoring. Posting just to boost post count and kill a thread is kinda pointless really. Thanks to Meg for being the one to step up and request a halt to that behavior!!

What's up? Just got back from playing bball and some football. Gators won if you didn't know. 😛 'Bama was ranked 24th last week, but lost last week because their kicker missed ALL FOUR FG attempts. 3 of which were game winners.

Today, GATORS WIN! ZERO offensive TDs allowed by us. Only 2 FGs allowed. We GAVE them a TD off of an unforced fumble (bad snap). And we get 4 TDs. One of which was off an interception...not to mention we put in our freshman QB who couldn't get a TD with 20 seconds left.

Next week is the top 10 LSU Tigers at Florida. :meanie:

Time to watch the OSU-Iowa game. I'm rooting for the Hawkeyes, Beary. Oh yea, and a nice F1 race to finish off the night around 4AM. 😀

Awesome!! The atmosphere there looks absolutely electric. I wish I were there SO BADLY.

And regarding football, Arsenic, uh, congrats on the touchdown to tie Houston.

It was close in the first half. The Bama QB is just awful. The gators showed some grit and pulled it together.

'Bama isn't that bad. We're just a 2nd half team this year. The same will happen agasint LSU. It takes us some time to get some energy.

I'm not even going to bother watching Miami. It's probably over by now, but I couldn't care less, lawl!

I got my Iowa sweatshirt on that I got on my campus visit. Although they might leap us in the polls and OHSU wouldn't drop below us either so it kinda sucks either way.

to add to that, he further commented:

For the record the actual damage that was done to me is as follows: multiple fractures to the nose, including a displaced septum; multiple fractures to the cheek bone; and multiple fractures to the orbital socket (eye socket), primarily the orbital floor (right below my eye)—in order to repair it they actual have to make an incision on the top of my head, from ear to ear, and peal back my face to be able to get enough room to place the plates/screws on my face. And yes of course a police report was filed, in fact the hospital legally had to call the police as soon as I came in.

Most excellent! You would not believe how long I pondered whether I should wear my Husker or my Hawkeye cap today. :laugh:

(Ended up going with the Hawkeye hat, thought the Huskers didn't need it, perhaps should switch hats)
