A few ground rules. Everything you post must be RANDOM and more importantly, only peripherally related to the MCAT. See my example post below. I now await Beary's shirtless pic of Carl Edwards. C'mon Beary, A-man is dying to see it. 😀

I really like the fact that this wine is so cheap. I always buy a box too from Trader Joe's. We usually buy 6 bottles of shiraz and 6 bottles of sauvignon blanc.....it's okay just to stock up, but definitely not the best.

we'll she's got the winter itch 🙁 ....(and no he doesn't have fleas)......everytime it starts getting cold she starts itching so this past few days the temp has dropped and she already started so we put this cortisone lotion on her, put a sweater on, and put a cone head. She absolutely hates the cone head but its the only way to prevent her from licking all the stuff off her body.

I got the someplace someplace secondary today. :clap:

They have this section with short response. It asked for my most memorable travel experience. So I type something up and it tells me the limit is 375 CHARACTERS, not even words. That's like 5 sentences! I had to shorten mine by a lot and it doesn't even convey meaning anymore. 😡

glad they got it out to you will. fill it out in the next 2 days, no joke. the earlier the better for someplace someplace. i hadnt submitted until like a week into november and i think that hurt me in terms of the late interview.

for the travel thing, i talked about a vacation i took with my sis and brother in law to vegas and cali back in 2001. you dont need to have a lot of detail, just convey the main points of why it was so special and exciting for you.

oh and i dont know if its the fact that i havent had any caffeine in 2 days or what but the espresso i just made is soooooooooooooooooooooo good. its so rich, wow. i should drop out of med school and go become a barista at starbucks. 😀 :meanie:

They have a competition for the milk designs poured into coffee. I think the prize is like 10k.

When I was in junior high / high school, Nolan Ryan was still pitching... that was some cool stuff. I lived in Dallas ages 0-17. (I try not to go back all that often! But I like rooting for the home team, even when they suck.) After the Rangers fall out of contention (July :laugh: ) I typically cheer more actively for the Red Sox.

Ouch. 🙁 I'm the complete opposite. I've had all my letters done since May, but still no secondaries sent in. I'm glad Miami has everything online and same with FSU. USF is similar, but UF is completely print out and snail mail. 😡

all of my letters that went to my committee were in by the end of february, actually. my committee letter went out the moment i heard about secondaries (late july). but i didn't request the character letters until after i got a secondary from USF, and i haven't really pressured my recommenders to get them in. one was just finished a week ago, and the other should be done soon.

for USF i had to print it and snail mail it...isn't that the same for you?

Hmm...some of it is, yes. Some of it looks like it will be sent in online. I haven't pressed the submit button yet so I'm not completely sure. 😛

Do MD/PhD have different applications or same one, but they tack on more?

I shadowed a Pathology HO today. AWESOME! Best Path HO EVAR!!!! Ooh...and got to see a really interesting presentation re: esophageal perforation. So cool. Sorry we are not going to see you tomorrow night Nik. 🙁 Maybe next time??
