No - then that wasn't you. This was downstairs in the student union. No we didn't go by any bars; there was quite enough alcohol imbibed at Beary's thank you very much. We're hitting the game and Penny says we'll walk past there. I'll know you by the strange urge I get to run away 😛

I'm also going to decorate the house for Halloween this afternoon after my eval.

I know I'm old when I ask for an old-fashioned apple corer/peeler for my birthday, and stroll through IKEA with a pocket notebook and write down a wishlist for the different rooms in my house!

Yeah, our next exam will be alkenes and E1/E2 reactions and their comparison with Sn1/Sn2 reactions.

So far so good at this point, although I got an 86 on my 2nd orgo exam (89 on my first) and I thought I did better.

Man you guys getting to meet each other makes me wish I had a reason to be in Michigan or St. Louis for SDN meets. 😛

Hey A-man! Unfortunately no. IV - YES!!! Oral - no. If anything the last few days I have been feeling worse though. To be honest I have missed a few oral ABx because it is so hard on my stomach. My PM is looking more red and swollen again, and I am having more pain and fevers. 🙁

I'm discouraged about it. I was so looking forward to this weekend, and now that's over, and I start autopsy Nov. 1. Could I possibly be any more whiny. 😳 *sigh*

I sort of wanna get out of here. I got up in the middle of the night last night and just drove around in the country - that helped me clear my head. Maybe I will do something like that again. Also, I ABSOLUTELY MUST get involved in a church. Hanging out with such awesome people this weekend made me sort of realize how lonely I have been here (which is 100% my own fault for not really making serious attempts to get to know people).

aww beary, i'm glad you had a good weekend with the randomites. sorry that the antibiotics arent knocking out your infection any faster. damn lazy antibiotics. 😡

Well one of the laws of being a true Floridian is that you have to go north of Florida to be in the South. Yeah yeah it sounds contradictory, but don't you know the true south is North Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama along with the Carolinas and Tennessee and Luisiana????

I KNOW I didn't just see some of the Randomites bashing organic chemistry. 😡 I've been meaning to write up a post about rxn mechanisms (E1, E2, Sn1, Sn2). One of these days I will get around to doing it.

I have a selective Southern accent. If I'm talking to other people who have them, I will start drawling a bit too. The funny thing is that I wasn't even conscious of doing it until someone pointed it out to me. Now even I notice that I do it too. :laugh:

I do the same thing, only Texan. Watching Friday Night Lights changes my accent every time.
