alas, no. those tix are hard to come by. and I got to see the live-action F/A-18 show yesterday morning on my way to school. 👍 4 of 'em coming in. (and give me credit, wouldja? I was close.)

see, I'd say screw it and add it in as an addendum later and initial it.

I helped out with that presentation this morning, and all the residents were trying to give each other GAF scores. one guy suggested that they all needed to be scored as part of their annual evals. although he did suggest that his plan be implemented after he's done training. :idea:

one woman tried to say she was around a 20, and I told her we'd need to get her next door to the adult psych unit ASAP. she was pretty pleased about the three free meals and a real bed plus a couple days off. *shrugs*

JLW!!!!!!!!! How was your presentation this AM?

I have all kinds of ideas that should be implemented after I finish path training. Such as all this lean six sigma business mumbo-jumbo. 😀 (for PW's benefit, this one is)

I always get really pissed off when people say things like they wish they would get sick so they would have to be in the hospital and miss work for a few days. That is like one guaranteed way to get a pissed off beary on your hands. Of note, the people saying this have never been sick a day in their life.

I actually didn't wind up having to do/say much at all. But it was nice to be there... And this may springboard to other opportunities. 👍


Highlight of my day: After the presentation, we did rounds. One of our patients' mothers had brought in a photo album to show us. As we're flipping through, she points out their Day at the Zoo, which prominently featured....

you guessed it-

3 pages of penguin photos. :laugh:

Well, I've already paid for everything and it's only $30 extra for USF and UF so I'm already this far. I plan to go through the process completely...😛 If I get in or not, it will serve those better on MDapps. I set up a profile recently...

normally i'd agree with you here penguin but i've only got 2 hours a day with this attending for the next 12 days, the rest of the days i'm just running scut for the residents. if i didnt fix that note the attending would have seriously chewed me out this thursday.
