Hey beary what exactly are the plans for Oct 20. I asked if I could stay with a student host an extra night but the coordinator is kinda resistant to that idea.

What I was thinking was that we could go out to dinner and then hang at my place for a bit. Your interviews are that day right?

That's lame that they're giving you a hard time. They should put you up in a hotel. 🙁

I hope it all gets worked out! :luck:

They said hotels will be booked since people are coming in for the game.

Oh and Friday's for the medical school interviews...she said we will be done around 10:30 am and people don't have to go on the facility tours (but i want to!) and students usually leave early/late afternoon.

I see! Shoot. It seems like there was some reason Thursday wouldn't work - maybe VD isn't coming in until late Thursday? 🙁

Certainly don't worry about it. We will figure something out regardless. 👍

Hey M1!

The flagged positive, which majorly stressed me out, but there was nothing on gram stain. So they're letting them go a few more days. But they haven't flagged again, so I am feeling much better about it and am 99.9% sure they will be negative. 😀

A- the description of my biography, as per wikipedia:

he story centers on Opus the Penguin (who was at the time one of the main characters in Breathed's comic strip Outland). Opus is downhearted because as a mere penguin he is denied the ability to fly. He longs to be able to soar in the air with the other birds, and his heart grows cold with the reality that he can't. Even the pigeons look down upon Opus, so Opus decides that one way or another he will learn how to fly. He orders a machine off the TV, and assembles it (maybe not correctly, the directions were in a different language). When it comes time to test the machine by jumping off a three mile high cliff, Opus decides to do something less dangerous, and goes home to make anchovy Christmas cookies. He doesn't give up on his dream though, and makes a Christmas wish to Santa for "wings that will go!". Happily for Opus, his dream of flying comes true, though not quite in the manner he expected.

that wikipedia article is racist. wtf?!?!?! EVEN the pigeons look down on this penguin? what are they implying, that pigeons are the bottom of the totem pole?!?!?! unbelievable. 👎 👎
