Yeah, she does. 🙂 She's not around much nowadays though. She's an M2, so she's super busy. I haven't talked to her in a while now.

Bwah hah hah. How long did you last before you started thinking you might ought to quit? I made it through orientation week, but after the first day of actual school, I came home thinking that I just made the biggest mistake of my entire life. 😛

The M2s at my school said beginning of first year was the worst - they apparently try to break you in early.

T, is this your first MSTP interview? You'll do great. It is exhausting though.

The biggest questions you can prepare for:
1) Tell me about your research.
2) Why do you want to do MSTP instead of MD only or PhD only.

Good questions to ask when they're asking you for questions:
1) How do you integrate medical and graduate school? (whatever they say to this is BS by the way but you can nod your head and pretend to be interested)
2) any type of advisor/oversight to help you through the whole thing?
3) how do you choose a graduate school lab? rotations? when?

My unsolicited advice of the day.
