When I had one of my wisdom teeth removed, I couldn't feel it being extracted. I could of course feel the force the dentist was using to remove it, but I knew it had come out when I could feel my blood pouring all over my tounge. LOL! It felt kind of cool actually (serious).

My theory is more time for sponsers to advertise, so more money to MLB. Who knows if that's the case, but it seems fishy to me.

I do not discount theories on making things more exciting. The following will probably not make sense to anyone here except maybe UMP:

Early in the season, the Renault F1 team took a large lead over Ferrari. They were seriously dominanting and winning every race pretty much. About midway, the FOM (Formula One Management) started to change some stuff a bit that some say favored Ferrari.

I.e. F1 forced Renault to remove a well developed (and hard to perfect) system that removed front end vibration (mass damper system). It kept the car smooth in the corner and it got more grip allow it to go faster in the corners. Other teams have tried this, even Ferrari, but never got it to work right.

So the Renaults automatically were slower and Ferrari looked blindingly quick in comparison. Sometimes they would even penalize either the Ferrari drivers or Renault drivers for "blocking" penalties during practice. bs. They even perfectly coincided with the championship standings. This year, the championship actually came down to the last race. In prior years (other than 2003), it came down like 3+ races before the end of the season.

I need to get the other 3 removed. He tried removing the other top one, but it was really stuck in there. He was putting a **** load of pressure on my tooth and I was being pushed back in the chair a lot. I'm sure if I was 7 at the time, it would've been a traumatic experience. 😉

The top right one that was removed was already exposed. The top left one was still under the gums, but through the bone (I dont' know dental terms). He had to cut away my gums for the top left and that wouldn't come out. I guess it wasn't ready if it was still behind the gums.

They just do that to make money. Some people don't need them out because they jaw can accommodate them. I don't plan to get the other 3 removed unless it causes pain.

Please tell me that they don't send teeth to pathology.

They do that at the VA here (send teeth to path). They're gross onlies, so only take a minute or so each, but talk about adding to my pile of dictations. 😡

the only time i've ever been a pt in an ED was when i was 15 and had appendicitis. the freaks told me that it was probably just indigestion and to follow up with my primary the next day. when i saw my primary he told me in 5 minutes it was appendicitis and had me admitted to the hospital. that night i had emergency surgery and they caught it before it ruptured.
