My most favorite:
1) Kidney, BY FAR (why I'm going to be a GU or renal pathologist 😍 )
2) Lungs, but really just the cilia
3) Liver
4) Pancreas
5) Heart (ok, gotta make the list)
6) Ovary
7) Prostate
8) Testes
9) Bladder

My most hated:
1) COLON (BY FAR!!!!)
2) Any type of extremity/bone thing
3) Brain
4) Breast
5) Cervix
6) Eyes
7) Nasopharynx

Ooooh, skin is a totally good least favorite one!!! I have to add that to my list! Easy to gross in, painful under the scope. Though we always do these psycho ink things to the skin for orientation. I always make the superior blue (for the sky) and the inferior green (for the grass).

it's for 7 days....it's weird 'cause when we went on our previous cruise, we didn't even get to watch tv...there's always something going on....we kinda forgot about the rest of the world 😀

I forgot to PM this to you, but this will give you the % of matriculants by in-state and OOS. http://www.aamc.org/data/facts/2005/2005school.htm

Keep in mind matriculants are just the people that enroll. I don't know the % of offers made to OOS. They probably extend more offers than matriculants shown because the tuition is so high for OOS.

i was out of that psych unit today and at a insurance conference so i'm home early! 😀

after talking to my fellow med students, my partner and i are going to talk to the course coordinator tomorrow about the scutting on our psych ward. the coordinator is really cool so if she can cap us at 10 hours and tell us to stay no later than 4, it will help A LOT! as is there is just no time for reading or actually learning psych. so hopefully the coordinator will understand, when we told the other students that we were leaving a couple of hours after the residents they were freaked out.

I got a LITTLE good news today. The UF LOR service e-mailed me with a generic e-mail saying my LORs have been processed (only took a day instead of 2 weeks). I'm guessing because it's getting kind of late in the app cycle, lol. Plus, I found out it's through Virtual Eval thingy so no snail mail. 🙂 Still waiting for the schools to let me know, if ever, they receive them. I know someone else from UF had problems with their Virtual Evals and caused like a month delay.

I am feeling the same. Thanks.

I am not "sleeping" very well, but have been spending huge amounts of time in bed since I am so weak. So I pretty much was in bed all day until I went to Walgreens. Now I'm home. Tonight I am going to go to bed really early, hopefully sleep well, and go to work tomorrow AM.

I think my attitude is a little better today. It's gonna be a few more weeks until I get any better. OK. I can't just lay around depressed for another few weeks. The first week or something I was all into fighting the Strep viridans and then I got tired and discouraged. I'm back into fighting mode. These little Strep can't get me down. 👍

For simplicity's sake I was just going to be a hippie the first night (already have the clothes for that 😛 ) and be a sexy devil the second night (ie. wear clubing clothes and buy horns and a tail) plus new clubing clothes will work for my bachelorette party this weekend too...

but then I saw a bar wench costume and it's just too cute; I'm torn.
