this is our stress relief thread....or our group anxiety thread, whatever..... 😀

for those of you that have no idea what the mcat random threads are about, check out molly's explanation:

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

I just dropped $400 to get my POS jeep to stop overheating only to drive it around to the front and have the radiator crack. (picture coolant streaming out of the radiator) 😡

🙁 Looks like I need to go through this car shopping bull**** again. Just when I decided I'd just keep the jeep. 🙁

i have my last physiology exam on monday......so this 2nd year comes by today while i'm studying and says my powerpoints look strangely familiar. um yeah--turns out that the lectures we had this week are the same lectures given to the M2s. okey dokey.

Just got off the phone with my dad - he says just fix it and he'll pay for it and we'll find me a new car in the spring. He says he'll take over the car payment while I'm in med school as long as it's under $300. Wow - I think I'm too old to have daddy buy me a car. 🙁

yeah i just had a overheating problem with my car--ended up being something in the engine. so expensive to fix😡 😡 😡 😡 ana--sorry bout your jeep. i see so many older jeeps around here--seems like they usually go forever.

being forced to endure our weekly meeting this morning in which we were told by our boss's boss about some significant departmental changes

listening to my colleagues rant and rave and come up with every reason under the sun why these changes will never work and why they're stupid (they won't really affect me, so I really could give 2 craps..)

I was just having fun playing WoW (a big patch came out this week). My mom called and we were chatting and finally she said "are you playing that dumb game?"

Does your pager have an alarm function? You can just set it to go off at a certain time. I do that all the time. 😀

Yeah, it doesn't really come across in text though I don't think. I'm basically the morgue goof of my class and really enjoy the dieners (autopsy techs) down there. So one night it was just me and one of the dieners, it was really late, we were really tired, etc. We're supposed to cut out the organs organ by organ (usually, sometimes we do a block, but I digress) and so obviously you cut the organ out without chopping it all up.

So I was cutting out one of the lungs, and there's all this fascia, vessels, etc. attaching it to the chest. And I felt like I was cutting through the lung itself, and so I said to the diener, "I feel like I'm cutting through tissue!" And she said "No ****." It was SO funny. I laughed so hard I cried - we both did. I literally had to scrub out and go wash my glasses off.

My High School car was named Gertrude. A 1980 Olds Cutlass with like 25000 miles on it. Mint. Was an old lady's car that she drove to church and the store and then passed on. Best. Car. Ever. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just looked at them meg - I'm glad your mom saw them. That looks EXTREMELY bothersome. 🙁

Edit: In all seriousness, if you've had them for 3 months, you should get a biopsy. Just a little punch one. That should really help figure out what it is.

yep they move all over. The only places I haven't had them are my face and back. And the intensity varies day to day. Today I maybe have 10 total on my body but a few days ago I had them as bad as in those pics. And those pics were taken at the end of October.

Since the dr's office is open tomorrow I'll call and ask for a referral. I've got one that I scratched at today and caused some tiny angioedema around the hive. Oops.
