As I am sure I have been whining about for a few weeks, the clindamycin I'm on has been giving me major GI issues which has been making me miserable.

PW told me to take acidophilus which helped TREMENDOUSLY for a few days.

Now it is not working anymore. 🙁 I think the clinda killed the friendly little bacteria. Now if only it would work a little harder on killing the nasty little bacteria.

Take more acidophilus???? You could have your own little ABx/good bacteria war going on in your body.

I'm working on this oxycodone stuff and one of these patients is on 1000 mg/day. The MD actually literally wrote out "one-thousand". :wow: 😱

Dude, I get stoned on 10-15 mg. 1000 mg???!!!!!!!!!

Now I feel like writing back and saying, yeah, perhaps maybe a little hydrocodone doesn't make that much of a difference. :meanie:

:laugh: Yeah they know I'm pre-med. 😍 It was so cute; the week after I got my MCAT score they bought me a cake and had a little "Congrats you're going to be a doctor!" Party. 😍


Times like that that I feel really lucky because I have such great people helping through this. That goes for you guys too 😍

Can you say "tolerance"? Wow!!! :wow:

My Rx is for 5-10mg. And even just 5 has me feeling pretty nice.

Oh which reminds me - we had a substance abuse counselor lecture in our psych class today. We were told that hoarding narcotics for the future is a bad thing. Well 😡 to him!!!

Went to one on Saturday (but was extremely tired due to an outdoor sport in the wind and cold and rain) and plan on dressing up again tomorrow. What can I say, any excuse to wear fishnets 😛 I kinda like them...I never thought I would

well, you are allowed to use 2 only if you dont make it public that you have 2.

a lot of people use one to be serious in the academic forums for example and another to joke around with in the lounge. if you want to phase out one just stop using it and stick to this one, you really arent allowed to use both if everyone knows you're both.

Why?? Because you're also not allowed to have two usernames and have conversations with yourself right? In that case people think you are two differet people when you are really one person.

I have a secret second screen name. This person has made very few appearances and only regarding a specific topic. 😉 I created it just because I think everybody knows who I am in real life and wanted to have anonymity for this one thing.
