Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

Curious (because the random question popped into my head today) - the pain you get with endocarditis localized (like your chest hurts) or is it achy pain you get everywhere with infections sometimes?

I have been having severe chest pain. And around my pacemaker too. I do have some generalized achiness and my muscles hurt after fevers, but what I have been taking narcotics for is the chest pain.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, I'm so excited!!!!

My sister has been having regular contractions for over 24 hours now!! I talked to her on the phone a little while ago and she sounded very annoyed. Knowing her, I really think it means this is the real thing.

I can't wait to meet my little niece!!! I'm just hoping everything goes smoothly for my sister and that she gets the birth she is hoping for!

This has been the most eventful day I've had in a very long time. I made my very first phone call to poison control today. 😱

I was laying down on the couch for just a minute to rest because I feel lousy. My three year old climbed up on the kitchen counter and got into the spray bottle I use to clean the countertops (which is under the sink and baby latched 99% of the time!! ARGH). I heard her start crying and then coughing. She had the bottle in her hand and I asked what happened and she said "I drink it". UGH!

So I called poison control - she should be fine because the solution was very dilute but talk about giving me a heart attack!

I think I need to just go to bed now. There has been too much excitement in this house for one day.

Blogger got a new format. I didn't know there was anything wrong with the old format....but maybe this one will give more choices for layouts.

Congrats on the niece. Now your daughters have someone they can be like an older sister to so they can boss her around!! hahaha just kidding but seriously congrats!! Ohh and sorry to hear about the incident with your daughter but so glad she's ok.

Technically I'm already an auntie (my husband has 6 nieces/nephews) but this my first biological niece!!

I hope she comes soon. It still might be another day or so - but I'd be shocked if she goes longer than that!
