how's your studying going guys? are you freaking out? burned out?

this is our stress relief thread....or our group anxiety thread, whatever..... 😀

for those of you that have no idea what the mcat random threads are about, check out molly's explanation:

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

I dunno. 😀 He has pissed me off A LOT since freshman year when he played. It gets hard for me to work on stuff when I can't get it out of my head. If I don't get into med school this cycle, 100% blame on Leak! 😡

Well since we beat UK and UK beat UGA. We beat UGA.

I found out after the UF game today that my elementary school friend threw the 2 pt conversion (by accident). He went to a private school after 8th grade when I last saw him. We played on the same YMCA bball team in 5th and 6th grade. I was the center because I was 5'7" at that time and he was barely 5 feet even. Now he's over 6', wtf. His mom was a 4th grade teacher at our school and hot. 👍

WOOOOO!!! Ron Zook, ex-Gators coach, just cut OSU's lead down to a TD. 17-10. Buckeyes got the on-side kick so looks like OSU will win. Michigan wins by 8 and OSU will win by 7. Both to extremely terrible teams.

I was making a joke about that team's name "Roughriders." There's a group in rap known as the Ruff Ryders. DMX is part of that thing (I think he still is). One of his albums names is "And then there was X" with "X" being him. You couldn't put that together? 😕

Tee and I were adding that up yesterday. I think we figured out that between the jobs and school (excluding homework/study time), I wind up doing about 40-45 hours/week. but there's a lot of driving going on which probably contributes another 1-2 hours/day minimum.

When do you plan to take the MCAT? Hopefully you wont have classes when you study for it because that will be a ton of work...

only class I'm taking next semester is Organic II with lab. b/c of the way the labs are scheduled, it's totally cutting into my work schedule (as in, I'm losing an entire day of seeing private patients which is a couple hundred bucks a day), so taking something else would be near-impossible.

plus I need to study for the MCAT. and sleep every once in a while. and going out occasionally might be nice, too.

yeah this is lecture from 11-12:15 on M/W, then lab lecture from 2-2:50 on M (which pisses me off b/c if they did it at 12:30 or 1, I could get to my office by 2:30, but NOoooooooooo... I won't get there until 3:30, which again cuts into the income big-time), and then my choice of lab 12:30-5pm T, W, or R. So I'm going to go with W, and just stay at school the whole day. I'll use 6 and/or 7pm on Wed as emergency appts if someone needs to get in, but not really plan on going in those days.
