how's your studying going guys? are you freaking out? burned out?

this is our stress relief thread....or our group anxiety thread, whatever..... 😀

for those of you that have no idea what the mcat random threads are about, check out molly's explanation:

MollyMalone said:
It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO POST HERE, you're welcome to jump in at anytime. Here's the final tally from part 7:

Ana, I thought of you when Tee and I were having coffee the other night- 24 hour coffee house with a phenomenal number of latte flavors to choose from.

Myself, I went with the raspberry truffle. 😍 😍
Ooooo for Lattes!

:barf: for raspberry!

My fav flavor of all time: Hazelnut 😍

... off to the ER... back shortly.

Yeah, I need to study for my physics exam tomorrow. I slacked off so much the last few weeks I need to re-read three chapters and do practice probs.

Maybe I'll check in this evening.

This semester is a lot of work (not hard, just work) and keeping me from catching up on SDN (which might be a good thing for my studies 😉)

Oooo 😍 you too, babe!

OK - Sweet buns and Godiva coffee thanks to my dad's billing clerk!
Who is coming over?

*checks text that just came in* Not you, assclown.

 You rawk!!

I'm in for coffee anytime...never can have too much coffee or chocolate 😀

If they come for 2nd look I'll come just to hang out!

(cause I ain't gettin' in)

Partay in the Lou! :hardy:

Remember Twin, WashU is the biggest numbers ***** out there according to SDN and thus you should have no problem getting in, no matter your bitchiness. 😀

Did anyone hear about what Craig James of ABC said about Joe Paterno

"Way to go coach, give it to the old fart"

He says this about a 79 year old coaching legend getting his knee smashed by a 300 pound football player.

Talk about classless😡 👎

Same here! My dad was telling me there was a home game against Ball St. I was like, there is? WTF?

Testicle Tech was overlooked yesterday... and Michigan had a few turnovers in the beginning to hype them up... then Lloyd Carr decides that he doesn't want to run up the score on his friend (Ball St. coach) so he pulls the starters when Michigan is up 17... and the game got unneccesarily close after that...
I'm glad this happened though, if they fell asleep against Indiana like this next week, them Hoosiers might have taken advantage of that since they're a good team when they're up for a game.
Two more weeks, Wolves! Don't disappoint.

There's a fight in the lounge about the new U2/Greenday song:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=4dCTCh1kbis

The lounge cracks me up sometimes.

I like it. People posting about the song are *****s. Why do people think Bush is solely responsible for people's devestation. I blame the dang mayor and governor first and foremost, and the idiots who didn't evacuate when told to. /rant

Yeah I don't blame him alone for that huge fiasco...

why can't more than one person f-ck up at a time? There's plenty of blame to go around about Katrina.

I just think it's easy to blame Bush since so many things are going on that people are at odds with (i.e. Iraq, stem cells, etc.). It just goes to show how sheep-like America is (especially the youth) - they believe anything they hear on TV/radio.

As a side political note - I have no problem with people who want to vote on issues I'm against as long as they have researched their candidates and are making informed decisions. When people base decisions and opinions on media, it kills me. I can't tell you how many times my husband comes home with "information" he hears from the Howard Stern show!

Agreed.

BTW, here's something that will break your heart. I just got off the phone with my nephew who just turned 4. He was telling me about how he wanted to be in the Army and kill terrorists. Makes me sad that he's going to grow up in this world. 🙁

After watching that video I would so much him rather say, "I'm going to be in the Army and help people." But that's not what he's seen on television 🙁

That's right - STL would be the city I side with (Chicago sux). We got Chingy, Nelly, Jibbs, J-kwon, Murphy Lee, St. Lunatics, Ike turner and Phyllis Diller! Midwest, baby!
My hometown has the Dixie Chicks. 🙂

Edit: Laterz Randomites - I'm off to drive 45 min to see Borat 👍
