Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I hate Hillary. Seriously. I hate her politics because she seems to exemplify everything I dislike about the dems.

I was all gung-ho about McCain but then he decided to become Bush's lapdog. 🙁 Now I don't know who I want as my next president.

Nope. Haven't been interested in any candidates to do it. Plus, I rather the State of Florida not have another route to find me and give me jury duty (they do it for drivers licenses and voters reg). *Knocking on wood* for no jury duty.

its AWESOME. basically, i would have one psych lecture a day at noon and then come back for about 4 hours of psych ER monday-friday night, instead of the usual 5/6 hours of psych ER. i could sleep in every morning, go back to being a night person and since i live on campus there's no commute. its perfect, i have no resident and just see pts on my own and present directly to this guy which is the director of the psych ER. 😍 😍 😍 😍

I want a foreign diplomat. I was talking with a classmate tongiht while studying, our government needs an overhaul. One being a separation of our "president" into multiple people. Maybe one domestic and one international. Obviously they have to communicate but with the "global" nation we have, most of these senators/congresspeople suck at international relations. I'd like to see more diplomatic experience for our president. the President is only one person and can't possible know and be responsible for everything.

speaking of them, my fave psychiatrist left me a msg on Friday saying that he and one of our patients were discussing that she may switch to a new PCP, who happens to be very strict. apparently her direct quote was

"I don't know. I mean, how many (insert my real name)'s do I NEED in my life????" :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

It's the elections mid-way through a presidential term. You haven't heard of them before because usually their only a big deal in state government and maybe a few Senate seats. It's a big deal this year because it's supposedly a referrendum on how the American public feels about Bush (based on whether or not the republicans get a majority in Congress)

thank you guys! i'm sooooooo happy its insane, i have 2 days left on that tough unit but thats it.... then its on to a low stress, happy, unit. CANT WAIT.

ok, let me go... i need to be up at 5am so i need to get some sleep but just wanted to tell all you guys i'm alive and happy. i'll post more in a couple days, i hope all of you are doing well. 😀

My cat is male, no problems. My friend's family has an obese female cat. Hides under beds, won't let you pet it. He calls it a bitch even though it's not a female dog. 😉

OK...I think I undersand now. It seems like the war in Iraq and/or Afghanistan (and growing public dissatification) is impacting the publicity of the midterm election. I kind of like the idea of a midterm election...we don't have anything comparable
