Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

Guju, there was a guy on here this morning spamming all of the pre-med forums. I saw him do it in pre-allo and logged into the mod server to ban him. In the time it took me to log in and before the ban went through, he posted his spam in two more forums: this one and the non-trad forum. That quick, three people reported the spams. The guy had only been a member of SDN for a total of about four minutes, and I banned him within a minute of his posting the first spam on pre-allo, but wow, these guys are quick. :laugh:

So I'm listening to the NU feed over the internet. There are all these nice Lincoln commercials which were making me feel super homesick. Gotta love all the seed and farm equipment commercials. But then there was one for the Nebraska Heart Institute. :barf:

I am SO GLAD that I am not on call this weekend. Have gotten some good sleep today, and studied placentas. During the second half of the game, I will study for Step 3. I think I could definitely fail that test given the unbelievably minimal preparation that I have given it so far.

some of us were, um, busy.. um... shopping.. As in, spent enough money that had I not planned out the shopping trip ahead of time (beary can confirm), I'd probably be diagnosable as manic. 😳

can we say "super-cute navy blue trench coat" and "awesome chocolate brown suede jacket"?????? 😀

to answer beary's question, I have to work 7-7 tomorrow, so I have to be up pretty early. therefore, I think I have a hot date with my organic chem book tonight to make up for the class I missed this week since I have a test on Wed.

How ironic. I'm teaching organic this week, and that's what I need to prep for. Well, how about we have a hot organic date together separately? Speaking of which, time for me to get a shower. I think my odor has run everyone out of this thread except you and me. 😉

Oy. My best laid MCAT plans went down the drain when orgo started kicking my butt. My honors project will be over before turkey day so I can start reading again then and kick it up to finish reviewing the material by the end of december. I want to start doing practice problems and full-lengths after the new year.

How bout you.... what are your plans?

I dropped $5K today for a couch and flooring + installation for the living/dining room. Painting has been paid for and will be finished next week. If all goes well, we could be living luxuriously in the living room by the end of the month.

It's a little more expensive than I planned, but at least we're not doing it ourselves this time!

DAMN IT FRAN!!!!

WHY!?!? Why do you go for teh 2 point conversion when we don't need it? And then we lose by 1. You're a fvcking *****, Fran and I hope you get fired. Why do you go for a pass play on 3rd and 2 when we have just about the biggest running back on the surface of the planet after making the same bad decision in the LAST game? How'd it work out for you then? *****.

And roughing the passer? That was so a mental error. What is our deal recently with the mental errors?

Other than that, good game, Beary 🙂 I'm sure you enjoyed that last quarter.

I can console myself with the ass kicking that OU will despense to that piece of crap team that trys to pass itself off as a respectable Big XII south team. 🙄 I hate Tech with the fire of a 1000 suns. Possibly even more than I hate texas. Simply because at least Texas has class but Tech's attitude brings the entire reputation of the state of Texas down. 😡

Ugh. Best wishes with your studying! Unlike you, I don't have to work tomorrow. But like you, I am going to make a hot date studying for Step 3 tonight.

for the record, although I shopped a lot today, I did not spend quite as much as megboo. :scared:

and megboo- remember that "date?" I told you about a while back? got a referral from him totally out of the blue yesterday. first time ever.
