this is our stress relief thread....or our group anxiety thread, whatever..... :laugh: 😀

Hey Q - I was talking to a friend of mine at Baylor yesterday and I mentioned your MCAT score. She did a total spit take and was like, "I've never even heard of a score that high!" And she goes to Baylor!! I was cracking up.

Thanks for being so gracious! It was a FABULOUS game. I absolutely enjoyed that last quarter. I'm positively exhausted now from all the emotion. 😳

I had forgotten about the 2 point conversion. You're right. I just listened to it over the net but am going to check to see if ESPN classic will show it later this weekend so I can see it. Truly a classic game if there ever was one.

I feel your pain with the mental errors - us fumbling the ball just as we got a first down which would have beat Texas.

I've never heard of a score as high as Q's either (well, except from Q obviously!) 👍 They don't come around very often!

I wish I could have spent more on clothes or sthg like that. Although the couch is totally cozy. Oh, and we also bought a huge matching ottoman. Buying flooring takes your breath away. For future reference, hold your breath when you get the price. We're only doing a 325 sf room and it's over $3K for this

We usually have a love-hate relationship with our coaches and Fran is just pissing me off. But y'all played really really well and took advantage of the fact that our coach is ***** and doesn't do strategy all that well 🙂

Now you better beat the hell outta t.u. at the championship. 🙂

Beautiful flooring Meg!!! Wow!

The condo I bought in IC was in terrible shape and I had to put in new tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, and new carpet throughout. It cost a fortune (not a small one, either!)

Though, I ended up making $40k (minus the about $10k I put into it) when I sold it, which was my downpayment for my condo here, so it worked out really well!!

The Gaytors got really lucky this time. I'm very disappointed and we are nowhere close to being a championship team. We will most likely lose the SEC Championship game at this rate because Arkansas is a great rushing offense and we obviously couldn't stop again.

I'm not THAT pissed at our offense this time. It was a VERY slow game if you watched it all. We only had 3 possessions in the first half, THREE. First possession was a TD pass drop so a 29 yd FG attempt. Our kicker was 2 of 8 in the season, terrible. MISSED 29 yarder, 2/9 for season. Second possession we had a 28 yard pass to the SC 8 yard line, but wait. Holding - 10 yard penalty which made it 3rd & 20. Sack. Punt. Third possession was the TD. Penalties got us again. That's why we're 116th of 119 I-A football teams in penalties/game.

Second half...Chris Leak FTMFL. Interception in the red zone. Next possession after punt block, we gave the ball to Tim Tebow after Leak got it to around the 30. Tebow goes 3 and out. Way to go coach. Sack. Punt. AGAIN.

Good thing we blocked the xtra point and last FG attempt. Still very disappointed and I was actually rooting for South Carolina at one point because we do not deserve to go to the title game. We will get destroyed by either OSU or Michigan.

If Texas wins out, they're playing OSU/Mich. If Florida happens to win out, too, they'll still put Texas ahead like they should. Now if Beary's Huskers can beat Texas, then we're going to the game, lol. We don't even deserve it anymore, LOL!

GO TEE!!! Bang up job over Auburn. 👍 I knew Georgia still had it in 'em.

Agreed that Texas will go if they win out (like you said, they should, since their only loss is to the #1 team). You think there is still any chance USC would go? I guess if Texas and Florida both lose?

I'm anxious to see the polls tomorrow.

OK, good advice. I am normally quite uptight about big tests like this but am feeling surprisingly apathetic about the possibility of failing from a total lack of preparation. 😕 Honestly, the only thing I care about is having to pay to take it again ( a cool $700 so not trivial).

I am glad you are not apathetic and are spending some quality time with your organic book. :luck:

Arkansas (leapfrogging WVU pending a win over Tennesse 28-7 Arkansas)

BCS:

3. Texas or Florida (depends on computers)
5. USC

USC can still move up. They play a ranked Oregon, Notre Dame, and Cal. UF will most likely lose to Arkansas so USC will move up one more. If Texas loses to Nebraska or A&M, USC will be in the game. They still have a tough 3 ranked games, though...a loss is possible.

Edit: I take that back. Texas sucks. 🙂 Colt only had 4 passes for some reason, but the defense was stil the same. You give Kansas State 45 points, you lose the game. UF FTMFW!

Today was the best day ever. Slept in... cooked hamburgers on their new grill, watched A&M vs Nebraska then ordered Chinese and watched OU vs Tech then played some Diablo II and drank some beer with my best friend, found out Texas lost - WHOOP!!

The only way this day could have been improved was if the Aggies won 🙁

😱 I had no idea that they lost to KANSAS STATE!!! I have been in WoW land, and wouldn't even have checked if not for your post. Whoa.

Certainly is good news for your Gators!

So this week #3, 4, 5, and 8 all lost. 😱

I'm sitting here thinking about the possibility of an OSU/Mich rematch in the NC game. If it is a close game, you certainly could make the case that the loser of that game deserves to go over Florida or USC (no offense Will). Will be very interesting to see how it plays out.

yeah the only 2 cases of a 43 I've ever heard of was you and Lorelei. Its truly a rare case but what can you say, we all can't be uber MCAT gods!!! Muahahahahahahaha :meanie: :meanie: :meanie:

Ohh and I was beginning to wonder when the score thread would be unsticked.

So other then that I went to the Indiafestival today at USF and then came back between 9 and 10 and practiced dance stuff I had to practice. Now I'm going to chill and then sleep cuz I'm still wired and not into sleepy mode yet.

I have a feeling if USC and UF win out, USC will be placed higher because they beat Arkansas by so much (we have to play them in SEC Championship game). I think an OSU/Mich rematch is definitely possible. Cal beats USC and UF loses to Arkansas who loses to LSU in the last regular season game (so all 3 are 2 loss teams). Rutgers doesn't even matter imo...btw, I'm also saying Notre Dame loses to USC so they would be 2 loss, too.

Looking back at our offense, I'm not angry at all at them. Our defense sucked a lot. Over 800 yards combined on both sides and 1 turnover (Chris Leak interception pass).

UF only had 7 (SEVEN) drives in the game, such a slow game (8 drives for South Carolina). We scored on 3 drives of 7. A 4th drive was the missed FG. A 5th drive was a holding penalty after getting a 1st and Goal at the 8. A 6th drive was a Tebow 3 and out after he got to play when Chris Leak was taken out (for Tebow to practice) in South Carolina territory. Lastly, a 7th drive was the Leak interception when we were already at the South Carolina 35ish. So we always got in there territory. Just mistakes on our part in penalties.

Our defense was bad. Terrible. We allowed a lot of rushing and Arkansas is a good rushing team so I think they can most definitely beat us. I hope we win. 🙂

girl... you were up early. or late, as the case may be..

I have that couch and a matching chair in dark red.. the walls are khaki.. adn the tables and entertainment center are a dark reddish wood. cherry, maybe? at any rate, it's nice to actually have "adult" furniture in the living room.. the futon (which is very nice, but still..) has been relegated to the spare bedroom. 😛

Yum, wish I could have had some Indian food. Was it South or North or both? I love South Indian food the best. But I think a lot of the reason is because I'm more familiar with it. 😛

if you get them a lot you should see your primary about them, if its really migraines they can give you meds like sumatriptan which knock those suckers out as they're about to hit you.

hey penguin! good luck with orgo. i start my new psych schedule today, 6PM-10PM. normally i'd have weekends off but its one of my calls tonight. ha, call is usually 8am-3/4pm but the department head told me to just show up at 6 tonight since thats when he was gonna be there. 😀

luckily the resident is clearly an idiot, as my colleague saw this child last night at midnight and DOCUMENTED IT IN THE CHART. 🙄
