this is our stress relief thread....or our group anxiety thread, whatever..... 😀

for those of you that have no idea what the mcat random threads are about, check out molly's explanation:

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

So I just talked to my brother. They don't have any girl names narrowed down yet, but if their baby is a boy they plan on continuing my family tradition of having Raymond in the name - in this case, would be the middle name. Their two choices of names are:

Evan Raymond 😀 👍
Charles Raymond 😕

No offense to anybody named Charles out there. He then went on to tell me how they would call him Chuckie. 😕 Reminds me of that horror movie!

you must get her whatever she wants!! that is the rule (at least with me and my sis) my sis is not really into dolls. when we go to the toy section she always stays in the boy aisles and plays with trucks. she loves to play with all my brothers' old toys---like star wars and transformers. she is also really into playing kitchen now with her play kitchen. i called her yesterday but she was too busy watching "Cars" to talk to me--she said about 2 words and hung up.

My niece loves "Cars" too!!! That was the first movie she saw in the theater. She talks about it all the time. I got her some toy cars based on that movie.

Pizza is a regular nemesis for me. Candy and cookies are my arch nemeses.

I really want to start making healthier choices but it is like somehow it takes so much effort. I always have these great intentions but when it comes down to it I just want something that will make me "feel better", even though in the long run it's making me feel worse.

I've decided to come up with my own top 10 after this last week...

1. OSU
2. Michigan
3. Florida
4. Rutgers
5. Arkansas
6. USC
7. Notre Dame
8. Wisconsin
9. LSU
10. Louisville

i actually see glaring weaknesses in all teams except for OSU and Michigan. I think it'll be very very hard for Michigan to beat OSU at the horseshoe, but I sure hope it happens.
If Rutgers ends up undefeated they should get the chance to show what they are worth, but they'll get killed. USC or Florida would make the most interesting game, but Florida seems to be squeezing out wins by ever smaller margins...
If OSU wins by less than a touchdown in a close game, I can easily see the rematch happening though

I think most forget USC 4 game streak of crap.

Washington State, USC won by 6.
Wahington, USC won by 6.
Arizona State, USC won by 7.
Oregon State, USC loses by 2.

All four of those are unranked teams. Then they shut out a terrible Stanford team and beat an Oregon that shouldn't have been ranked this week figuring in the Oklahoma "win."

UF's close wins:

Tennessee, UF wins by 1. Tennessee currently ranked #23 (highest 3 loss team).
Auburn, UF loses by 10 (after a TD from our laterals with no time). Auburn currently ranked #15.
Georgia, UF wins by 7. UF was up 21-0. Georgia was ranked #25. Currently in the "others receiving votes."
Vanderbilt, UF wins by 6. We were up 25-6 in the 4th. Never trailed, preserved the win (like Michigan did that same weekend).
South Carolina, UF wins by 1. Close game, but not enough reason to put USC ahead imo. Carolina is not a bad team by any means. They lost a lot of close games to good teams (Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, etc.

You should check out my posts in the Drs Lounge about "Game of the Century." 😉 I figure it will probably piss you off, but I'm not on a mission to do that to anyone, just giving my opinion with my thoughts (detailed).

This year a bunch of my friends are coming over and we're going a kind of potluck. One of them makes an amazing carrot cake... ugh. I am so gaining 10 lbs this Thanksgiving
