Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

Ooo I remember reading about that in my Greek class.

I agree; that looks really really good.

Edit: I just watched the trailer. I think I'll have the same issues with it that I did with Troy. Some of the fighting scenes don't look like they use Greek strategy which is sad because I think the coolest part is the military history. But if I can get past the fact that they completely ****ed up the plot of the story of Troy then I can get past that. 🙂

Hi kids,

Anything exciting going on? Not much here. I still have about an hour left of my homework for tomorrow, but I'm not feeling inspired to work on it. But I guess I'd better get it done....I'm not going to feel like doing it at 5 tomorrow morning either. 😉

that sounds like an excellent plan. we can play "tourists" and get you to see some of the city. I refuse to go shopping that day. :scared:

and btw, if Thanksgiving gets to be a bit much, our dinner is at Brother Penguin's house, so you could always pop by if you need to. 👍

i'll be in connecticut...too expensive to fly home to pittsburgh, but it's easy enough for me to take a bus to CT and for my parents to drive up to my aunt's house in CT.

I think we are going to postpone Thanksgiving by a week. :laugh:

Seriously, it's weird. My older daughter (14 months old then) got a stomach bug starting Thursday night the week before Thanksgiving then I got it, then my husband got it. We got together with our families for Thanksgiving as planned, and EVERYONE got sick two days later!!

And this year? My little daughter got the stomach bug the Thursday night before Thanksgiving. Strange coincidence ..... But I'd feel awful if we got everyone sick again (even if they *are* my in-laws) so I'm going to suggest putting it off.

that's cool. at least you'll get to be with your fam.

one of the docs I work with said "Oh, so you get to go on vacation next week, huh?" I pointed out to him that 4 nights at my mother's is NOT exactly what I'd call a vacation :scared: , but it would be nice to at least get a change of scenery.

Oh yeah. Okay I heard about this recently... apparently it's a really common thing down here (it's like 90% Catholic down here and my friend said it's mainly a Catholic girl thing).

I don't know. Seems like some f-ed up logic to me.
