Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I don't think I "deserve" a Michael Bolton hat.

That sounds like a blast. I really would like to go to Alaska this summer for vacation. Not that we can afford it but I do want to go somewhere after the MCAT/semester madness. Celebrate my MBA and my hubby graduating!

Yeah it does sound like a lot of fun, but expensive. Between this trip, apps, and my special someone, I'm going to need lots of money!

For us though, its one of those never will I ever again get to be 21 in Europe for 2 weeks without the worry of a job or family. It's only money. I'm just going to put it all down on Red in Roulette 😉

Can't complain though, now my dad is at work, my mom is somewhere in the house doing something, and I am parked in a recliner with my laptop in front of our big screen HD TV. 😀 Will take a nap this afternoon.

I got an invitation through amazon to buy a Nintendo Wii - think I should?? I've played a friend's and it's very fun. I don't really have $250 lying around for it but I'm still so tempted .....

Oooh, interesting. I wonder if there will still be a big demand for them after Christmas? I probably wouldn't get it until the end of this month or early January.

And I'd still be soooo tempted to keep it for myself! LOL

I am FURIOUS. I have to spend my day finding out about the %*^&$*$& TSA and their stupid rules. My precious, adorable, sweet little THREE YEAR OLD niece was flying back from Cincy to Lincoln yesterday. Cincy has these new air puffers. Totally understandably so, my niece didn't want to go inside it because it was scary. The TSA FORCED her to go in there, shut her in there, and then the thing malfunctioned and she was stuck in there. When they finally got her out, they gave her a really rough pat down and touched her in "sensitive" areas (which they are just teaching her about not letting people touch you there!) Apparently she is totally traumatized. Why would you make a THREE YEAR OLD go in one of those air puffer things by herself. 😡 I don't think she's much of a terrorist threat. Anyway I am really mad and am going to look into how to complain to the TSA.

I have to deal with the TSA a bit since I always have to get pat downs with my pacemaker (can't go through the metal detectors and would set it off anyway). I have found them to be professional. But they just need to understand that airports, flying is scary for a 3 year old and you can't just take them away from their mom and treat them so rough. 😡

What games did you play on it?

I am infatuated with the thought of getting a high def TV for myself. My folks have one and it is just amazing. I wouldn't need (or want) a very big one since I have a nice entertainment center that my TV fits in. But ooooh it is so much better than normal TV. Especially for football. 😍

Are you KIDDING ME!?!? OMG - KNOCK SKULLS. That is so seriously unprofessional. Do you know the name of the security guard? I'd be tempted to press charges for child molestation. Seriously. I know there are rules about them patting down women in "sensitive" areas so if they're aren't rules about children then that's just ****ing ridiculous.

She must have been so scared. 🙁

Yep, I totally agree. I am definitely going to knock skulls. Her mom said she is totally traumatized about it. She's at an age too where she remembers everything really vividly and I hate for her to remember being stuck in the air puffer and then getting handled all roughly. 🙁

I am glad to see there may be some effective weight-loss drugs in the pipeline. That is probably one of my biggest failures is my inability to control my weight. If any of these end up being safe and effective, I would definitely give it a shot.

that is horrible and unacceptable. I would make sure that your parents got the names involved and report it to the airprot as well as TSA.. 😡
