i dont remember IR spectroscopy being too bad, that was the only part of orgo i really liked

well guys, i got waitlisted at UAB. i'm kinda bummed...but it's not a bad place to be. they said that they do end up taking people from the WL b/c lots of their initial offers go to people who end up getting into higher ranked programs. so i'm hoping for the best *sigh*

Also tomorrow I have to give Extended Gross Conference (a really big deal around here). I think my talk is ok but will be glad to get it over with.
