I was "j/k" 😳 Pale girls do have their french benefits. 🙂
ok, I can't let this one go....... "french" benefits?? "FRENCH"??? I believe the term is "fringe benefits", honey.

and there's a joke in there about it being "french" benefits, but like Evo, I'm way classy, so I'll let it go for now.

*buuuuuuuurrrrrrrp*

😀

Why are you all not allowing your skin to make vitamin D? 🙁
I'm mostly Irish. The ancestors had no need for excess pigmentation in their skin. 'Tis a cloudy, rainy place, Ireland. Why the hell do you think everything's so green?

Looks like I might be attending the OPM conference. So far the word is that the Buffett concert is in July, so I'll be there being snarky :meanie:

w00t!!!! TypeA and I are both in, as is Mush (and Hern, too, I think), so it'll be a blast.

From here on out, OPM shall be called Random SnarkFest 2007. I have decreed it so. As if that counts for anything. 🙄 :meanie:

Come to WashU...we have lots of beer.
that's what's drawing you there, right? alllllll that beeeeeer.......

*pops open the bubbly (that I don't have) just to make Tee jealous*

I think it was $75 last year for all 3 days. A much better bargain than all my continuing ed classes....

$75 for 3 days vs. $159 for 6 hours. 😡

Yeah but the continuing ed courses actually let you keep your licensure! My cont. ed costs for the last 2 years (mine go biennially) were over $2k. Stupid speech therapists. Thank goodness for tax deductions.

yup. 30 hours every 2 years. there are some free ones out there... I try to do those. although the last paid one I went to, I should have demanded my money back. it was on psychopharmacology, and she SUCKED. blatant misinformation being given out, it was pathetic.

Hi all! Hope everyone's day was great. Sorry about the WL PBandJ, but there is still hope!! :luck:

This is a heavier semester than I expected, but I knew it would be rough. I have a Anatomy practical tomorrow evening and more junk and this and that. Y'all know the drill...anyway, so much for free time. LOL. I know, I know.. "TypeA, I haven't had free time in a million years."

Oh, Ana...TX has wonderful landmarks...like the childhood, adolescent and adult homes of yours truly 😉 LOL! And the best dang BBQ anywhere!

GOD DAMN I am back in the MCAT forum. I am teaching TPR but retaking the beast against this August 😡
Dr VN, you are retaking??

I'm so sorry things haven't worked out for you this cycle. 🙁

I'm sitting on 2 WLs right now, getting really anxious for april/may depending on what i hear from my other interviews.

I didn't want to post this in the AAMC lawsuit thread, but I just found out that the People's Court is a real court of law - people have already filed suit with their respective local courts and opted to have it heard on the people's court. The rulings are legal and binding.

right, the parties basically agree to independent arbitration which is what the show is. the show use to also cover the cost of the judgements, ie if I sued my mechanic and won $1,000, the show would give me $1,000. the mechanic wouldnt actually pay anything. thats how the contestants get "paid" for their time.

how i learned this i dont know, talk about pointless stuff to have in your brain.
