Yes this is true.

We had a visiting professor from Brigham and Women's here yesterday and he told us they got in trouble for ACGME violations on their blood bank rotation.

Our blood bank rotation is 8-5. Period. Plus weekend autopsy call, but that still doesn't get you anywhere near 80 hours a week.
