Yay! Yeah it is a pretty small community and you start running into people. Also it is my experience that MD/PhDs always go out on a limb for other MD/PhDs.

Yeah I just got it when I reread it. At first I read it as her asking why the cow was wearing armor of any sort.

But I just got it. Man I'm really tired today for some reason. I don't know how I missed the fact that the armor was made of leather.

Sounds like one of those really creepy canibalism stories. Shades of Silence of the Lambs and Hanibal Lecter stories. 😱

:laugh: Of course the cow needs armor, she's out there fighting the evil alliance day in and day out! 😎

I am really tired today too. This morning was crazy hectic and then the afternoon has been slow and boring so I sort of had the post-hectic letdown compared with boredom which is not good.

Oh and Tee, I saw your post earlier. Welcome back!!!

Hope you don't get too jet lagged. Many when I came back from India I was waking up at 2am and going to bed at 6pm for like the whole of the first week after I got back.

well then you'd better tell him to get on it, b/c I just got an email from Anastasis saying to spread the word that as of today, she has a new niece!

she said it happened so quickly she didn't get to assist (as had been planned), but that her experience DID confirm a lack of interest in OB/GYN :laugh:

Woohoo, that is great news!!!!! I remember that her niece and my nephew were due to be born at exactly the same time!

Yeah pretty much seeing any birth is enough to confirm a lack of interest in OB/Gyn. :laugh:

Good luck with your thesis! It is such a tough time to write those - I remember seriously considering dropping out of my Ph.D. even though I was almost done so I didn't have to write the dumb thing. 😳

i saw a birth on some video they made us watch in 8th grade
definitely not interested in ob/gyn but we'll see

Ok guys. Enough of the cows. I just got my @ss chewed and my advisorship taken away because *someone* complained that I've been feeding into it and even responded to TypeA about my "offensive" boss with my applicant username (it's ok TypeA, I thought it was funny).

I'd rather see the cows go away so *someone* can be happy again.

Thanks. I'm only a lowly Master's student now, and yet for some reason I've signed up for my PhD. And it's not for lack of jobs either...I'm just plain nuts 😛

I love research, I just hate writing. But I'm glad to know I'm not the only one struggling

You know what? It's fine. There's not much activity in the thread I used to advise and those that had questions asked mostly by PM anyway.

It's unfortunate that advisors can't be placed on an ignore list, but other than that, we haven't had to endure painfully lengthy posts lately.

Now, let's talk, no big whoop!
