Despite the threat of being banned by certain evil Randomite moderators on power trips, I couldn't resist posting a nice set of breasts.

Man, we went to the West Edmonton mall today...that place has an amusement park (so does Mall of America in Minneapolis)...AND an ice rink!

I got an A (1% away from an A+!) on this horrible environmental chem midterm that I thought I was gonna get a B on, no more...and an A+ on the anatomy midterm! Pretty stoked!

Great job, Jochi!

I managed A's in Chem (and finally done with it, thank god) and Bio myself. 7 more classes til i'm free!

Getting excited/nervous about interview. One class monday, then it's off to J-town.

i work with a scrooge
he hates this time of the year

That sucks, Funk. My boss loves holidays.. she changes her purse for halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, easter... you get the idea.

It's the end of vacation.. sigh. I have a few things to do for Cell Phys today and I need to finish a physics lab to drop off under his door before i head to jackson.

Can't believe it's interview time!! :scared:

Finally giving up on the homework. I feel 5 hours is enough for today. 👍 The assignments I've been working on are due Fri & Mon, and the Fri one is almost complete... the Mon one well over halfway.

Back to football here! 🙂 👍

ok, we're post-Thanksgiving. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

but you know what this means......... time to break out the Christmas avatars! (I'm being completely non-PC about this, I know. and I don't care.) I saw megboo already has hers up...

Welp, it's 6:22am and I just made it back to KC. It was a long night, driving in the pouring rain and sleet. My friend and I hit a patch of slick pavement--sleet-covered road--on our way back and we nearly slid to our death. Luckily, by some miracle, we came out unscathed. We did a three-sixty and hit the guard-rails on both sides of the highway. The bumpers and headlights are destroyed, but everything else is fine.

Anyway... The important thing is that we are safe and back home.

Glad to hear you and your friend are safe. I've done that before as well in snow, and it's not a very pleasant experience. Since then I've always switched to my snow tires for the winter.......best investment I ever made.

Again, good to hear you're ok.

thanks! made it here safely and found the SOM (after some great help from a handsome m1). its kinda hidden between the hospital and nursing school so it took a bit of looking. settled in at the hotel and headed out abt 730!

Wow! I did the spinning thing this past winter. It was a wide freeway though (4 lanes), and so I managed not to hit any guard rails...it was also fairly empty, so I didn't hit any cars (the worst part of it).

Well, I'm officially at the height of my boxing glory! I sparred with one of the coaches tonight for the first time (even though it's against the rules :hardy:), for real - headgear, shield, and all that jazz - and guess who ended up with a bloody nose! Hint: it wasn't me!:meanie: :meanie: :meanie:

He said we're gonna do it every time now...I think he's entertaining the idea of me fighting seriously.:scared: But I'm actually kind of tempted...my friend/classmate had his first boxing match in Edmonton this weekend, and since I was up there, I went to see. Despite the fact that he got totally creamed (blood EVERYWHERE), I've got the bug to go up on the stage now...but I'd have to cut ice cream and chocolate out of my diet for that, and that's worse than getting hit in the nose in my book!

i am really glad you're ok!!

you guys do realize this is the NON-mcat thread, right? no test-talk or we kick you out. 🙂

No prob, that was just an introductory slip so that my existence would be acknowledged. 😉 I'm so glad that the semester is almost over. I'm really starting to enjoy spicy foods, since my GF has got me eating them and now it's time to find a holiday avatar with the Todd. I think I'll watch a bunch of scrubs episodes and freeze frame one with him in it and then just add a santa hat.

My interview(s) were amazing! It seems like a great place. And best of all, decisions will be made starting... TOMORROW! :scared: The AdCom is meeting Tomorrow afternoon and Friday morning.. and we'll have acceptance, rejection, or "be patient - we want to look at everything again later in the year" by then. It would be amazing to be in the first stack, but I'm not setting my hopes too high 🙂

Thanks for all the well wishes!

good luck with the decision! i am pulling for the best :luck:

Thanks, guys. I'm feeling pretty glad to be alive. I noticed a few bruises today, but other than that...I think I'm fine. I'm gonna take my car into the shop to get an estimate this Friday. I hope it's going to be affordable. We'll see...

Gotta take a breath and move on... Can't let it affect my school work.
