Despite the threat of being banned by certain evil Randomite moderators on power trips, I couldn't resist posting a nice set of breasts.

Happy Thanksgiving Randomites!

😡

*poof* be gone with you

btw, don't keep protesting that I'm the drunk one and then not spell my name right.

listen PENGUIN, ive been calling you PENGUIN since before you changed your username to match my nickname for you. i refuse to recognize your bastardized french version of the nickname just because "Penguin" was taken on SDN. 😛

bastardized French? try ACTUAL French, poison-boy! but that little spelling you have above, that's neither French nor English.

We don't speak Arsenicese in these here parts, my friend. :d

(ps this is so fun- just like old times :meanie: )

oh sweet lush, are you drinking on the job right now or just drinking?

die mcat DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!!!!!

haha, hmmm so tell me nikki... do you have any resentment towards the mcat? 😛

ok seriously, no joke. step 2 clinical skills costs $1,005 to take before graduating med school. you have to book the test 4 months in advance, fly to one of only 5 test sites in the country, pay for a hotel, and then wait 2 months for the score. if you fail it, due to all that time to get a score again you might not be allowed to start residency on time. 😱 when i got my pass last week, i seriously grabbed my first aid cs and ripped it in half, pulled it apart, and tore up every page in a fit of joy and repressed hate towards all the stress the damn exam had caused me afterwards. it felt soooooooo good, def worth the $20 i would have gotten had i sold the book on ebay or something. :meanie:

Congrats Arsenic. Hey how come you don't let people read your blog anymore?? I tried sending you a facebook message about it.

Nah, your Civic could handle snow because it's FWD. Rear wheel drive cars have the most problem in snow. As long as you don't live out in the farm land, the plow trucks will make the roads suitable enough to get around town. Just don't wish for black ice. 😱 4wd won't even save you then...

Wow what in the world is the world coming to?? Two of our greatest random thread veterans have returned from a land far far away? 😉 😛 :meanie: :meanie:

Welcome back WilliamF1 and Arsenic!!! We missed you around here. 🙂

Woooooohoooooooooooo looks like the Giants may win after all. Yay cuz I don't like the Patriots!

omg i love eli
and that was the best sb i've ever watched
wow
im in shock
and champagne showers are awesome 🙂

I concur. Amazing game.

Stupid MCAT. Grrr. I'll be so glad to have the darn thing over with for the last time... it's going DOWN this time.

Don't have to be at school/work til 11:30. Learning your subject material the first time pays off occasionally, and p***ed-off professors are kinda funny. Anyway, it's a week without lecture for those of us who cared enough about glycolysis/krebs cycle/etc/chemiosmosis to actually study for the test, and a week of repeated lecture for those who didn't. 😆😆😆

mkay I'm done now 🙂

have i gone back in time?? is the random thread coming back to life!?

(Cue Dr. Frankenstein voice) IT'S ALIVE!!!! Sheesh . . . I can normally check in here every couple of days and not have missed much, but I miss one day and all of a sudden we're halfway down (or more) on a new page . . . Yay for all the randomosity!!! 👍

The three Canadian groundhogs say that there's gonna be an early spring...but I'm quite skeptical since we got over a foot of snow yesterday, and then some freezing rain for good measure 👎. Doesn't feel very spring-like to me

Three Canadian groundhogs?? 😕 I had no idea! Maybe you and jochi can fill us yanks in on this tradition. Do they prognosticate in the same fashion as Punxsutawney Phil (shadow-seeing)? Why three? (This reminds me of David Sedaris's story about the French Easter Bell for some reason . . .)

CultureDoc should know of which I speak. Get out of here, Floridian. 😛

Yup! Mmmm . . . lasagna from a restaurant on The Hill! I haven't been since summer 😱 . . . me thinks it's time to get out there and eat some pasta! 👍

Yup, from three different cities. One's on the east coast, one's in the west and one's halfway between. It's the same thing with seeing the shadow, although I read that the one out west is not real...he's stuffed 😳 But they all said the same thing, although I think they're being blasphemous.

What's a French Easter Bell?

Good plan . . . two lasagna dinners for the price of one!

P.S. - I like the CD abbreviation for my name! Makes me think of music CDs, which are becoming dated . . . as am I. Funny story - J (husband) and I returned a DVD case sans DVD to Blockbuster a few weeks ago. When we took the DVD back and apologized, the kid behind the counter said "oh, it happens all the time" . . . and I responded that it was impossible to do that with VHS (because they were so heavy). I think J did his best to pretend like he didn't know me 😳

That's fantastic! And seems slightly more sensible that the US's one groundhog that tells what the weather's going to be like for the whole nation . . . even if the whole concept in general is completely and absolutely absurd!!

. . . which is kind of the point of this one chapter in the David Sedaris book "Me Talk Pretty One Day." I can't explain the French Easter Bell in quite as humorous a fashion, so you'd have to read it to really get this. The upshot is that he's taking a beginning French language class in France, and there's a Moroccan student who doesn't know what Easter is . . . so everyone else tries to explain . . . and Sedaris gets mocked for his discussion of the Easter Bunny, while the French apparently believe in a flying bell that brings everyone chocolate. I don't recommend the whole book, but that chapter is downright hilarious. 👍

I'm tired of organic. Grrrr. Trying to finish my notebook and it is giving me problems.

Physics today. Last full class/ last lab. Leaving early. 👍 Have a presentation for work at 5:30.

Happy Monday to all.

LOL. I remember VHS tapes. The poor kid though, if the kid working at Blockbuster was under 20, she/he probably had no idea what you were talking about
