J. comes back from Sturgis tomorrow. I have done no cleaning until today so I've been cleaning like mad. And only got his bathroom and the guest bedroom done so far. Well, I also rearranged the guest room and put a new motif in. I'm switching from palm trees to rustic cabin decor. 👍

Frenzy cleaning is a great way to put it! J's not going to be home til tomorrow morning and I took a nap so I can clean for about 5-6 more hours before I collapse. Who needs the gym today!?

The bad thing is that I didn't get to finish my chem review and I really want to get started on my full-lengths. Oh well. I'll have to finish it in between FLs. I like the t-shirt idea. Maybe I'll make one 🙂

I'm exhausted! It's been a very productive day so far - I've studied a week's (!!!) worth of physics, cleaned my kitchen, AND my car. My car is covered in crap, so the cleaning process involved removing a ton of padding from it and washing it in the bathrub, as well as pouring buckets of water into the trunk and flooding the whole street...MAN! We're supposed to go camping tomorrow if the weather remains decent and the man finishes his work assignment, so I wanted to make my car palatable, since we'll be taking mine this time.

I wish this were the forecast here....for the nights we're going camping, it's a low of 48 degrees, and that's here at 3300 feet elevation. We're going up to the mountains, so probably another 3000+ feet higher, which means it might drop to freezing point at night. *packs 8 blankets*

ARGH!😡 I just had more religious solicitors come to my door, except for this time they woke me up AND they had toddlers in tow who were telling me rehearsed stories about how I should "wake up and find god." Seriously! I wanted to tell the stupid woman who drags those poor children around and brainwashes them to buzz off, but obviously couldn't do it b/c of the very children themselves.😡 And then she's like, "Oh look, you guys, she's just a little girl herself!" I was like, WHAT!? You have idiotic comments for me now, too!? I was like, you people got a lot of nerve walking around intruding on people's lives and shoving your crap down their throats! I don't freaking go knock on people's doors telling them how they should stop going to church and believing in god because it's a waste of time! Have some respect! If I want to freaking "find god" and donate half my money to you, I'll freaking figure it out myself!

I have one now, too. Working on Kaplan subject tests in Physics. Ugh. I'm getting 50%'s across the board. Stupid thing is that I'm so zoned I keep putting marking inverse answers. I think that means it's time to break for the day. It's definitely harder than the real deal, but still I'd like to do better.

first FL tomorrow! more subject tests to follow and somehow I have to return some things to WalMart and Target.

🙁 Poor pingouin and the hot weather. My folks aren't even going to the lake house this weekend cause it's too hot. They've had power outages too.

Funny story - Last summer in July it was terribly hot with temps > 100. We were at a wedding reception in a Collinsville when a bad pop-up storm rolled through and smacked a transformer. The heat was out for the night and it was hotter than hell in that reception hall. No backup power for AC or DJ or anything electric. The couple paid for the wedding themselves and had a pretty ice sculpture that became a bird bath by the end of the night. When they served the cake and ice cream it was pretty much cake and milk shake.

Thank goodness our hotel across the street had a different power source and the AC was working!

Man called and said his client was not happy with this work, so he has to redo everything and we gotta wait till tomorrow to go camping...🙄oh well. I've been studying a lot today, so didn't even prepare food for the trip. We won't make it back in time for boxing on Monday night, but hey, gotta keep the coach guessin'.

I shouldn't have gone out to get it. Blue Cross/Blue Shield overpayed me by $20 in February and now they want their money back. 😡

Plus I got a final notice for the renewal of my malpractice insurance. Better get on that one. 😳

BC/BS are notorious for "overpaying". I think it's their way of just being stingy. I got a letter a week ago that they "overpaid" me $900 in May 2006. Um, they can't request a refund after 12 months so they are SOL as far as I'm concerned.
