Morning all!

Tomkitten is a train wreck and I can't look away. So embarrassing to admit that!! I can't wait to see the next idiotic thing that he will say. And megboo...you are right..he is a great example of how a weak person can be brainwashed. But, with that in mind...what does it say about Katie??? She was brainwashed by HIM!!

thats probably the most stressful job in washington, everything you say is scrutinized and analysed for double meanings. i dont blame the guy for leaving, i would have left long before him if i had that job.

has anyone ever tried chicken feet at dim sum? now that's something interesting...i just couldn't deal with the texture.

dude, it wasnt funny! ok... maybe a little. :laugh:

it tasted like sausage, seriously. the blood turns into a solid/semi-soft filling that doesnt even look like blood. still... thinking about eating an animal's cooked blood makes me sick. who the hell thought of making that a food. :idea: :barf:

I knew you were a former newsie but didn't know a former DC newsie. That rocks. I love political news - I could read about it all day.

I read somewhere that if anybody was going to leave before the end of the Bush administration they were supposed to leave now to get all this shakeup over with.

Oh, okay I know what you guys are talking about now. My family calls it black pudding (yeah, no idea where that name from other than it is a really deep brown). The first time my family gave it to me, I was like, "This stuff is great!" (there are a ton of really great spices in it) but after they told me I just could not stomach it. Too bad - integral part of my favorite dish: Ulster Fry!!

hmm, i've never had blood sausage. i'm not the hugest fan of sausage, or eating blood, for that matter, but i'm usually willing to try new things at least once (like i did with the chicken feet).

from what i remember (it was a while ago), they just taste like whatever sauce they are marinated in (i think it was like a thick soy sauce). it was just so weird, though. some people really like them. it's an acquired taste. my friends liked them, so i thought i'd give it a try.
