I just close my eyes. When we fill up the SUV it is $58 - $60. So I take the convertible as much as possible. Better gas mileage. But, I hate the way people stare at me when I am in that car. I really couls be grateful to have such a cute car, but I didn't want it so that I would be stared at...I wanted to enjoy driving it. The best time I have driving it is when there is no one around.

If you hear the train noise, go to an interior bathroom with no windows, get in the tub, and (if available) cover yourself with a mattess - but be careful not to smother!

Yeah, I'm suprised there isn't a black-market organ system along with the gas mini-mart.

You'll get where you have to go, but only after taking out a second mortgage and maxing out the credit card. 👎

Apparently the GOP is calling for an inquiry into price-gouging. Nice idea, but maybe this could have been done, oh, about 5 years ago!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes the tornadoes come in stealth mode, so pay attention to the weather channel or local news!

The pollen has been so horrible here that I wanted to wash the cars today...but well...I didn't. Now it is dark. I need to do some (ok...a TON) of laundry. Let me go get started on a load. BRB

maybe flowers....like tulips or lilies or something? restaurant/movie theatre gift certificates.....a cute watch or other jewelry.....cute childhood picture in a frame.....a porshe.....i dunno. Maybe just think about something you would like and then get that for her

I would have updated but we were tracking the tornado by internet as we were in the med school which has wireless (thank god)



its really active tonight ... there was one tornado touch down SE of OKC(oklahoma city). Thankfully we only had mid rotation I didn't get to see the wall and was considering chasing it but they have it on TV. We just had another touch down to the west of us. :scared: I NEED TO STUDY and I'm so nervewrecked.

AND MY DOGS JUST ATE THE HALF OF PIZZA LEFT! Nik you were right, I hsould have taken it 🙁

Nancy Grace wouldn't be preempted...HLN couldn't go there...NOOOOO she was yapping re: Natalee Holloway. A horrible situation...but the only thing she and Greta have been talking about for a year!

gift certificate to spa is good, the totally SOFT blankets from Target with a ceramic mug and some yummy instant cocoa and slippers, a fancy baking pan with some fancy baking mix, gift certificate for dinner/movie, gift certificate from housecleaning chain (Merry maids or similar if they service her area), flowers/chocolates (the old standard), a tart warmer and some yummy spring scents, Spring serveware from target or upscale kitchen store or even an antique store if she like certain patterns (I like toile and stripes for example), car detailing gift certificate, and I could go on and on!


MUSHY! Stay safe and anchor yourself to an underground water main with a leather belt with Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt!
