You're right I knew about the list, but its the Thunderdome. I don't want half of my PS replicated by some Bozo.

So, ummmmm....can someone give me advice on how to clean up a gallon spill of engine coolant from the trunk of my car?:scared: 👎

I had a canister in there, and it must've cracked or something. But it's weird, I don't see any cracks, and the cap's screwed on tightly...weird.

Would kitty litter help? I got 3 cats, so lots of that stuff around.

I suppose drain out the excess coolant and rag dry the rest of it. I never thought of using kitty litter. You could try that.

fwiw, I have (*goes to count*) 5 Cs over 4 semesters on my undergrad transcript and did not address this in the slightest in my PS. if they want to know, they can ask. (and besides, I have no actual excuse so why bother trying to explain?)

I have 2 Cs and according to pre-allo the only solution would be to commit ritual seppuku with a copy of the most recent MSAR.

of course, as I pointed out to a Randomite via PM- in non-trad, someone asked about a 3.44 with good ECs, good LORs, and a potentially "high mcat" (hasn't taken it yet- we all know how that goes) and was told

It's a real long shot. Don't count on the MCAT to turn you from a bad applicant to a good one -- I think your application is only as strong as its weakest link.

Advanced Gen Chem- 2 semesters of gen chem smashed into one semester. never should have been in there as chem is my weakest science. Wasn't told that it required 2 yrs HS chem, and my school only offered one.

Calc I- yeah, that was the semester I switched my major away from bio/pre-med. reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly didn't care about Calc, as I was never going to use it or need that grade again. whoops.

General Psych- beats the %^*# out of me. WTF? let's blame that (and the calc- same semester) on the horrendous roommate who made me cry almost daily. that's a good one.

Intro Sociology- actually a C+, thankyouverymuch. perhaps had I not overslept for the multiple choice final, took the incomplete, and then had to take an all-essay makeup final after Xmas break, it might have been a little higher.

Principles of Econ- do I *look* like I care about economics? because I don't. stoopid major requirement.

I have to tutor English this evening. Tutoring always makes me nervous, but now I'm kind of a basket case. Poor tutee! She gets a crazy, freaking-out tutor.

I know you weren't. 🙂 I was proving a point that when they're lame, excuses are kind of like @$$holes and opinions, you know?

Therefore, no reason to talk about them in the PS- enhance your image, don't detract!

😳 i didn't even talk about grades in my PS...
