Thanks everyone for the support! It's a relief to finally be finished with this cycle, and I certainly hope things work out just as well for you all in the next/current one.

Dear Anatomy,

Why must I love you so? How have I so carelessly become so obsessed with you that I have done less than wonderfully in the eyes of my judge? Oh Anatomy, why do I care so much? You are a scornful lover. You entice..you have lured me into your world of dural sinuses and cranial nerves and I cannot look at another subject without thinking of you. You hurt my relationship with Chemistry. We are still on B terms, but so thoughtless of you it is. I have given so much to you, it is only right that you give back in return.

Oh my dear Anatomy, I will be ever so thrilled to see you in my rear view mirror as I drive away from that final tomorrow. Be kind in your questioning, if not, I will have to visit for another semester. THAT is what you have done to me Anatomy...I desire perfection when it comes to you.

Give me fetal circulation, but spare me the origins and insertions...you have found my weakness.

No finals tomorrow, so I dont have anything I have to do.. I suppose it's alright. LOL. Trying to not waste the time by brushing up on my anatomy I and prepping for AP II. It's been so long, the bones and all their processes/fossa/"parts" are eluding me!

Wow, already taking anatomy.
In undergrad I took classes that had nothing remotely to do in med school. I may be screwed for the first few months of the year.

Nah, don't worry about it. Med school classes have such a different emphasis and the pace is so much faster that I don't think it makes a difference. I was a biochem major and we covered everything I knew in the first week.

Ok, not a month behind but a week behind 🙂
I majored in econ and I'm guessing I'm not using much of that in med school except do a cost/benefit analysis on medical school and calculate things like human capital.

Argh - I have gotten a bunch of defibrillator shocks. 😱

I just called in sick to work. Makes me so stressed but can't do anything about it. 🙁 (Bright side though, if I'm gonna miss a day a blood bank day is not a bad one to miss.)

For four years, I took nothing remotely related.. haha.. but in my "cram year" i'm doing A&P II, InorgII, PhysicsI&II (ok, not related LOL), OChem I&II, and Genetics and Cell Physio..

Congrats on knowing where you are going Durden and PBJ and T! (though I'm still not sure where that is for T, LOL).

Yeah for no more finals PW!!!

I'll be done on Thursday. I can get a B in the class without even taking the final (so, so, so, so tempting but I just can't ruin my GPA on purpose like that even though it doesn't matter anymore) and I only need a 48% on the final to get an A in the class. So I don't think I'm going to study. 😀 Well, maybe I will a little bit because not studying stresses me out more than studying does.

And I ordered a new double jogging stroller for the girls today. I've decided that we're going to attempt walking every day this summer (as long as it isn't freakishly hot - and even then we can just go late in the day).

I feel ya on the not studying stress business. I've got my last one Thurs night and def dont need to study, but i will, cause i'd be ticked if i somehow managed to ruin my gpa with a B in this class. Fun times with the stroller. You're a braver woman than I am...(course south mississippi summers are 100+ degrees every day and about 95% humidity):laugh:

Thanks for all the well wishes folks! 😍 I am SO tired and going back to bed again. My senior told me to take tomorrow too if I need it so I really appreciate not having that stress.

Oxeye, your older girl at least, and probably your baby, should be able to jog along with you. :meanie:

All right back to bed. It is SO hot here that I had to turn on my air conditioning!

:laugh: Yeah the Michigan heat and humidity is just way way too much for me too. Better to stay inside in the air conditioning playing WoW. 😀

I figure I'll just look over my homework but I'm not going to do much. I forgot to mention the final is open book - so I don't even need to try to remember formulas! 😀

I really think the walking will be nice. We do get a lot of high 90 days around here, every now and then over 100 but it's always really really nice in the evening on hot days like that. That and the little one has taken to waking up at 6:30 recently and it's never hot *that* early. Oh and pretty much no humidity. I don't know if I could handle living somewhere without a dry climate.

They could probably outrun me. :meanie:

The baby (gosh, she's 21 months now - can I still call her that?) is an absolute klutz with no fear. She'd kill herself if I let her walk instead of ride in a stroller.

niiiiice. It was 86 here today 🙁. First tropical system apparently is already forming off the coast of the Carolinas. 😱 😱

I was too lazy and feeling too bad to cook tonight. Pizza Hut's cooking instead. Woohoo.
