Since this seems like a day of announcements, I wish to announce that I now have my Minnesotan driver's licence! Woohoo!

What this means is that I can now rent from Blockbuster without a passport.

At least the Minnesotan test questions were sensible that way. In Calgary it was similar - just replace mph with kph and yards with metres. Eeek.

I have a plan for my next license photo...I'm getting my hair and makeup professionally done and then taking the shot. I will also freeze my face into my preferred expression and not move it until they hand me my new license. If that doesn't work, THEN I give up. 😀

So have you decided to do path yet or what? I encourage you to keep an open mind when you get to 3rd year and do your clinical electives, so that you can recognize how much bull**** there is in surgery and medicine.

not yet yaah, i havent shadowed the pathologists yet but i know what you're saying. i'm just keeping an open mind and trying to find something remotely interesting to do research in.
