Any responses would be much appreciated.
1) What is the ambient temperature in the testing centres? I am taking it in Chicago in 2 weeks, so I expect it is going to be pretty warm outside. how cool do they keep it inside? I do not want to freeze to death, but I also do not want to sweat like a pig for 8 hrs.
2) Do SPs understand "urinating"? Here, I have been trained to ask about "passing water", or "peeing" but my US-born hubby tells me this is not going to be understood in the US.
3) How about "waterworks"? If I ask a British patient about a UTI, 7 times out of 10, they will blink at me with a blank expression. I learnt to ask about waterworks problems or waterworks infections. My hubby tells me that waterworks are being dealt with by the city council.
4) Passing wind?
5) Tummy pain or belly ache? Or would they understand "abdominal pain"?
6) Poo? Or stool?
Thanks!!!
