That commercial is terrible. I agree with about how he dresses, it is annoying.

Everything about his appearance, what he does, and what he says is completely fabricated to:

1. Gain attention.
2. Appeal to pre-teens who are looking for role models that they can identify and focus on (and buy all their products)

I agree with your distaste for him, yet I feel like it could arguably be misplaced since he's just a puppet for the people who control him and his image.

All the same, his idea or not, seeing the stuff he does makes me shake my head. A picture started circulating the net recently of the ludicrous getup he was wearing to meet Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. It was atrocious.

Em, PP, & DVM - I am completely opposite of all of you. I am most productive in the morning and am pretty worthless at night. I'm always in bed by 9 and I'm up at 4:30. Sleep-in days I'm outta bed by 6! 😱

My husband and I had had a really busy and rough week a while back. By Thursday night we were in bed at 6:45! We laughed about it later but we were just sooooo tired nothing could stand between us and sleep :laugh:
 
Went to bed at 8 yesterday because I felt so miserable. 11 hours of sleep and feeling much better.

I also don't stay up on purpose. I try to go to bed before 10 because I don't function well after that.
 
I couldn't be a 4:30am morning person even if I tried!
I've done the get up at 6am for 6 months and I was always lucky if I made it past 11pm those nights before passing out. My current schedule though- going to bed at 8am just blows. I like a happy medium of bed by 12am or 1 and up at 10am.
Though I can do earlier. Just don't ask me to be awake enough to comprehend before 8am
 
Definitely not a stay up late person. I used to be in undergrad, but I just can't do it anymore. 1am is usually the latest I'll stay up and it's usually only right before exams. I try to be in bed by 11pm every night. Need my 😴 or all the studying in the world is pointless for me.

Same, I just can't do mornings. Wish I could be a morning person, but I'm a night owl. I can get by without too much sleep if I have to, but I've been told I can get quite grumpy when I have to get up early for stuff :laugh:

Did avatar sizing restrictions change recently?

Last time I changed, I could definitely have a larger one. :/


And my PM restrictions changed to what everyone else non-donor, more recently joined has. Man, that was nice for a while for WW being able to PM more at a time...

Yours is being limited by height before width. Make it square and it will seem bigger...

But not as big as MINE... lol.

I've thought more than a few times before about donating, but it is not happening right now when I am warm and snuggly with my down comforter and my wallet downstairs. Tomorrow perhaps...

And then mine could be as big as yours. :meanie:

No. But for a while, I had no restrictions on number of PM recipients and I think a few others who had been members for a while had the same thing.
 
So there are 2 girls I work with at the vet hospital that are my age and started at the same time as me. They have become BFFs and it seems like they're always trying to call me out on things I've done wrong (though I've been lucky enough that they haven't actually caught any errors I've made). I just feel like I really have to watch my back. I've never been anything but nice to them so I really don't get it. It's like they want to bring me down.

So last night I spent 2 hours helping one of them with Chemistry. Well essentially I did her homework for her and made an effort to clearly explain how I was getting my answers but she didn't seem to really care.

I don't care if they want to be BFFs but I just wish they would get off my back!! Until then I guess I'll keep being nice ... Unless any of you have other ideas??

Be cordial to them. Best way to disarm them is to be helpful/supportive. Other than that, not much I have to offer.

Yeah, but don't do their homework. If they want help, make them ask for it. Nicely. And then just help them think through it, don't sit and do the problem for them.

Some people are just bitches, too. Just mind your business and hope karma works out in your favor.

👍👍 for both pieces of advice. You take care of you. If they affect you work then talk to your boss.
 
Hello Everyone!

I have a question if anyone can provide me some insight, I would be SO grateful!! I just realized that I input contact information incorrectly on my VMCAS for my research experience. Would it be looked down upon to email the schools I applied to in order to clarify it? I was also told to put my animal research into the "animal experience" section, but just realized I should have put it into the veterinary experience because my professor has a PHD. Would it be looked badly upon to include that in the email to the schools I applied to as well? Please help! I am freaking out now ( Thanks everyone!

I haven't been up this late in FOREVER!!!!! I'm gonna be a grouch tomorrow lol darn you physics for stealing my sleep time. 🙄
 
It is overcast and rainy today 😍

And I made minestrone soup in the crock pot over night last night 😍

Right now I want to curl up in a blanket at home with my soup then take a nap. The only thing stopping me is this crazy thing called work 🙁
