They do. OSU use to be 2 years in Corvallis and two years in Pullman (though they did some weird year 2 and 3 thing in Pullman). I was just saying that was how Oregon States Vet program was started, but USU is planning to just be part of the WIMU program permanently as far as I know.

Ohhhhhh I thought you were saying USU goes to OSU and was like wat. I am too tired for this. Farms was tiring.

It would be interesting to know - if most of them do stay on the track they were on when they started, and they go back to their home states, then sure, I'm all for decreasing debt load for people who would be applying to other schools OOS anyway. Increasing class size isn't my favorite thing, but I'd say more seats at that price point is better than more seats at the OOS price point, and having sponsored seats at existing schools is better than building brand new ones.

Problem with this proposal is that I'm fairly certain that SD residents already were considered IS at UMN. I'm worried that they're just doing this to try to collect more tuition monies from 3rd and 4th years and inflating the class sizes to do so. I know they said they'll limit the number of island students for clinics but I'm skeptical what that actually means, are they going to reduce the number of island students? Or make some arbitrary cut off number? Because last I heard they were taking more and more every year... but maybe I'm just jaded at this point.
 
I gifted myself a giant wall tapestry of Henri Rousseau’s The Snake Charmer for my bedroom. I didn’t plan out how I’m going to hang it up though. Oopsies.

I loooove My Dad Wrote a Porno and have tried to make everyone I touch listen to it. But it is raunchy af lol.

My child is 18 months so I think I can still get away with it in front of him. Although he has started to say **** instead of duck so maybe not. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hardcore History is super intense, long and really informative.

A Taste of the Past is fun food history.

I quite like Song Exploder for insight into the creation of various songs with the band.

I've been listening to more audiobooks recently though. Dat free Libby app lyfe.

My Favorite Murder, and That's Why We Drink are both my go-to podcasts for driving, cleaning, etc!! LOVE them.
Also really like 99% Invisible (Hard to explain but it's like.. neat, not-really-acknowledged things that happened/are present. Like a still working phone booth in the middle of a desert. Or the Santa flea market in China. Really wholesome, calming, and interesting).
Annnnd then I like Guys We ****ed - not really what the title suggests. I started listening after a breakup lmao, but it's basically about being informed and positive about sexuality, feminism, relationships, etc in this day and age. Definitely raunchy, but just in a non-censored way. Pretty informative??

I also enjoyed the Habitat...

My podcast consumption goes up whenever I drive to my parents (once every two years or so...) 70+ hours of round trip road trip fun! And then I get super behind in everything for the next two years

I like:

Invisibilia (NPR podcast that "explores the intangible forces that shape human behavior—things like ideas, beliefs, assumptions and emotions"). It's riveting and very emotional

The Adventure Zone - D&D podcast with three brothers and their dad. Hilarious and often takes left turns into really touching narrative moments

Radiolab - needs no explanation for why it should be on any podcast rec list, especially if you like science

This American Life is same as above, plus I love Ira Glass haha

(Most of these will be very common on podcast recommendation lists, I just feel like they need to be here for the sake of completeness haha)

Wow these are all such good ones and to think I listen to random comedy ones (that no one has said) and political ones...

I feel in the minority. And must up my podcast game lol.
